Yes he's over priced but he's still at quality player at your level. If he wasn't injured all the time people would want him ahead of Lambert in the England pecking order.
Carroll is miles better than crouch (played and scored many times for England) and could play for most prem teams if he stayed fit. Also doubts about his like for beer and illegal substances!
Collins off is good for us. As well as their power in our penalty area they're strength is their power inside their own area and he's a big part of that. I used to really rate Roger Johnson but I'm not sure he's that good any more.

This is his problem. He's starting to get back on the straight and narrow under Big Sam to be fair but injuries are ****ing him over. It's also easy to forget that he's only 25.

Think Bruce has made a mistake here. Fair enough West Ham like to put balls into the box but surely stop that at root? Figueroa will get beat time & time again, Downing will be allowed the freedom of the park and plenty of time to try and and pick out Carroll. Also I don't like Bruce in midfield because he can't pass and is technically appalling. Think it'll be 1-0 West Ham but whilst they're pushing (i.e. not winning), we've always got a chance with Long & Jela up against Tomkins & Johnson.
