    Starting XI:

McGregor, Figueroa, Bruce, Chester, Davies, Meyler, Huddlestone, Livermore, Jelavic, Long, Elmohamady.

Subs: Harper, Rosenior, Koren, Fryatt, Sagbo, Aluko, Quinn.

Rosey dropped, Bruce and Figgy in. Very surprising.

Shocked by that. All i can think of is it will allow Bruce or Chezz to pick up Nolan and still be solid.

If ever a game we needed Faye for this is it.

West ham will be crossing/launching into the box - an extra body in the centre of defence will be needed.

Looks like he's going 3-5-2 (or 5-3-2 however you look at it).

Bruce, Chester and Davies as the back 3, Figueroa and Elmo on the wings, Thudd, Meyler and Livermore in the middle with Jelly legs and Long up top.

I'd have kept with the same time as the West Brom match personally. I thought Rosenior was brilliant.

If he's playing safe then Rosey is a safer option than Figgy and Elmo in terms of defence. Disappointed he's been dropped but hope it works out. UTT

I'd be more confident with Rosey in there , very harsh to get dropped after his performance last time out

What, putting this seasons' liability back on in place of one of our best performers last match?

kind of surprising after the last few games but TWT. Sometimes managers have a tendency to over think these things. yet another day of remote following.

Could be reasons that Rosey was dropped that we dont know about.

Lets not forget we owe these ****ers. These are the ones who hacked into CI and erased all their previous threads. Payback big time for that.

    surprised Figgy is in..
he may have impressed on training field.
cos he is a liability in matches.
no way is he as good as Rosey.

Can see why having Bruce in would help. With West Ham it's not just the goals from headers you need to watch out for, it's more about the knockdowns and second balls in the penalty area that people like Nolan always pick up. Bruce in the back 3 is perfect for dealing with those sorts of balls. He'll put a bollock in front of the ball if it keeps it out of the goal.

Figgy LWB though instead of Rosenior is a bit weird.

Huge positive I take from this is hes not shied away from changing a winning team, it's always horses for courses.

Not convinced by dropping Rosie but we'll see, he may be nackered or suffering a nasty cut/bruise from Saturday.
