A little early but lets be honest, the Villa game is of no importance so this stands as our next important fixture. Do we have any hope? Any at all? heres a picture of Manchester United please log in to view this image
Bayern like you can rest players to focus on your tie. You are nearly as unlikely winners as when we beat Barca, they had won 15 in a row. You have better players than we did in 2012, but we had a stronger mentality. Barca also had an El Classico to play and we were off the chart lucky at home
Humiliation awaits if Moyes is allowed to continue Utd are so poor it's actually cruel to take the piss
Ha taking the piss is fair game, we were going to have a **** season at some point. Personally think Moyes will be in charge at the start of next season as well :/. Nice one on the non jinx thread
Grind out two 0-0 draws and win it on penalties. It can be done. You would have to drop Ferdinand though.
If by some miracle moyes gets sacked then we might have a chance. Im of the opinion that tactics, gameplans and a clue might be important in beating bayern. We are not about to go and play them off the park. Not even close but with a gameplan, one much like chelseas in recent seasons might just do it. Play 5 in defence, 4 holding midfielders and one striker!
We have never been good at parking the bus, it's not a tactic we've ever been successful with really. I remember last year against Real when we had 10, and we tried the backs to the walls stuff, and we only lasted like 10 minutes. We need to try and attack them with pace in wide areas, there is no point allowing them time and space on the ball, as they will sooner or later break us down
You need to sack Moyes first. Then do a Chelsea and park the bus. You have better players than we did in 2012.
Yeh I really hope we set up to attack. We need pace. Januzaj, Welbeck, Kagawa, Hernandez and Nani need to be in the mix over the two legs. If these league games serve any purpose, it's to get Nani match fit.
Ah f**k it, the very least I expect from this tie is Woodward with a briefcase full of cash, a pre-contract agreement and Kroos in some back office at Old Trafford
Btw, UIR please set up the non jinx second leg thread asap as well, before a certain someone beats you it...
