My problem with Labour MPs is that they seem to make every friggin' thing about class. It's ridiculous. A bit like the Guardian: http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/jun/26/charlie-chocolate-factory-morality-tale I sincerely hope that article is satirical. Though being the Guardian I wouldn't count on it.
And in the same way as the rest of the UK, not enough searching questions were asked by the populous (fans) or the media (media) when the PST were selling the story that Pompey fans would have a say in running/owning their own club. I'd go as far as to say that the average Pompey fan who pledged money, has less of a say in PFC than when Saints were floated on the stock exchange and fans (like myself) held a few shares. At least we had some legal framework, even if in practice, we had no influence over the club. If Pompey go down, will the PST run a vote amongst members to replace the board & paid directors? How much Trust is there really now of the "Trust" ?
Ok forget all about the politics thing, I'm sure those MPs and all the others are fine (plus it is soooooooooooo boring). Villa away on Saturday as well, there is a potential weekend away + visit to the wife to be had there. She doesn't need to know about the footy. Ah crap, just remembered she will be down here then. Never mind.
I'll admit, if that article is meant to be satirical, it's quite amusing. The author tweeted about it yesterday.
Bumped into a Pompey fan I know at the Clinic today, he mentioned that Barker has twice had slanging matches with PFC fans at & after games recently.
Several local media sources and a couple of national journalists, in terms of who is closest to PFC, Neil Allen. Barker spent the day in a meeting with LMA representatives and has a meeting with your chairman tonight.
Neil Allen, the legend that is. Alain Perrin won't be happy though, we only need one more game without a win under barker to match his record for the lowest win percentage of any Portsmouth manager in history excluding caretakers
Yeah but I don't think he'd be too tied down with that. Left them after 3 games to take the Notts County job, after all.
Could be Andy Awford, he's done a decent job with the academy and he was caretaker manager for a while. I sincerely doubt it'll happen though. Not while Caitlin still is CEO.
