So it does....I never read the fine print - not exactly intuitive to scan such obscure co-ordinates on a page or entry ? So having multiple accounts is taboo then, or just for the predictions thread ?
Should ban anyone who changes names on their original sole account n that case then, unless they marry or have a sex change of course !! Maybe I should purchase 14 million lottery tickets the next time a humongous jackpot is available.
    Thanks anyway for confirming.

Believe it or not Macca, it was a tongue in cheek response..I appreciate your diligence & enlightenment. I'm on top of it. Enjoy the game tonight. I'm still confident we'll be 10th by Saturday night.

Agreed. In fact a 0-0 tonight and we go above Vanilla on goal difference to 11th place.

That then sets us up great for the potters.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

In terms of the Prediction League multiple accounts wouldn't be an issue. Each account would be treated as a separate individual so there's no advantage to doing it. Yes you'd get more than one go at predicting each week, but unless you knew which set of predictions was going to score the most the chances are you'd end up splitting them between the two accounts and they'd both end up with an average score. If you did know which was going to score the highest then you'd not bother with the second account as you'd know it was going to get a lower score. Name changes likewise, the first week after the change when the scores aren't added together they're likely to point it out and username history is easily checked on their profile if there's any doubt.

Multiple accounts are an issue on the site as a whole though. Clear parody accounts aren't likely to be acted on. Anything that could be mistaken as being a separate individual will be. There have been issues on the site in the past, both involving users on this forum and other forums, some of which are publicly visible, some of which have been kept to the moderators board which means that even when no harm is meant the situation needs to be stopped fairly sharply.

Anyway, review of every page is almost complete, all I've to do tomorrow/Saturday is adjust the table to just include the more recent predictors and remove the ones who stopped ages ago. Only issues found:

    General

Any name changes to accounts have been accounted for as all posts were displayed with current user names. Also any new accounts to replace old ones that were declared on the PL thread have been covered. If anyone is on a second account for some other reason just let us know after the updated tables go up (eg Cheshire Ben had to have a new account at some point and his old one wouldn't have displayed as his current name so he'd need to tell me if that had been this season)

Weekly Wins - the table will be a bit different because my setup awards full wins to everybody with the top score each week. It also sorts ties in number of Weekly Wins by using the highest individiual weekly score (so everyone will be able to see their top weekly score of the season)

Overall Table - I don't think there'll be any changes, other than it'll detail how many 3 point predictions each person has got as it uses that as the tie breaker for people level on points (I know someone asked about that not too long ago).

Week 4 - there was an incorrect fixture posted - noticed at the time and voided so no changes
Week 8 - early kickoff included in predictions - noticed at time and predictions stood except for Hudds Barber (iTom at the time) who was given a bonus fixture in Week 10, but they didn't predict in Week 10
Week 12 - 2 early kickoffs included by Top Banana - no action needed but a strike 1 for TB
Week 17 - BigotAnal (Devil's Advocate at the time) edited post after fixtures played - nothing to be done as it was just taking out the 28/12 predictions from the Boxing Day Predictions Post
Week 18 - BigotAnal (Devil's Advocate at the time) edited post after some fixtures played - dealt with at time, original predictions used, no further action as no gain was made on points but that's a strike 1 for BigotAnal
Week 18 - 2 sets of predictions from Top Banana with request made to use first set - Second set to be used as request was made after games had been played (not sure which was used for scoring at the time)
Week 21 - Davies Headband predicted during play - only 2 predictions valid - openly stated it was in play so no action other than restricting it to the two games

    Tickler

Some point in Week 1-8 - whinging about fixtures
Week 9 - whinging about fixtures (2nd offence) - Warning issued
Week 11 - Ignored 3 o'clock Saturday rule when selecting fixtures
Week 13 - Ignored 3 o'clock Saturday rule when selecting fixtures - Final Warning issued
Week 17 - Arguing about rules - 10 point penalty issued at time
Week 21 - Whinging about fixture choice

Now on review, going back to Week 13, when the early kickoff was pointed out I didn't notice at the time that it was argued about and a claim made that the early kickoff was a surprise to Tickler until after he'd posted the fixtures. That's odd given the post the fixtures were made in specificly states it's an early kick off and hasn't been edited. - As per totting up rule the next penalty issued is meant to be 20 points, and the next one after that 30. The 20 is suspended until the end of the season, so if Tickler makes it to the end of the season without breaking the rules again he'll not get it. If he doesn't then the next breach is effectively a 50 point penalty as there'll be the suspended 20 and the 30 for the next offence.

    PattyNChips

As it was blatantly the same person predicting I've merged the two accounts using the last set of predictions made will count rule. This may affect totals/weekly wins when I put the table up.

    Team names when making predictions

Can people please use the correct team names for their predictions. It might just be a bit of fun to change them, and I don't know about the others doing the scoring and tables, but it's more time consuming than you'd think when people change things like that. On a normal set I can just glance at it and run through the numbers, if there's a fixture missing it's obvious and it jumps out. When the text around it changes it throws the rhythm and I have to start fannying around checking each fixture to make sure I'm copying it to the right ones, and if I have to start decoding descriptions as well it's a right pain in the arse.
