I'm on episode 21 next, powered my way through them I've not given anything away but just in case you don't insight into it at all, I've made it NSFW: [NSFW]The story lines are good but the transcript could be better at times. The first episodes is about how he got lost and returned more than anything, the next few are about setting the tone/base for the series. If you enjoy the first two or three episodes then you'll like the series as IMO it gets better, plenty of twists etc too. PS...I'm particularly enjoying the flashbacks to how he came to be how he is via his experiences on the island.[/NSFW]
Yeah that's pretty good. My housemate auditioned for that back in Ireland before shooting, asked me to come along but I declined #notanactingboneinmybody
If this guy can act, anyone can
Downloaded series two of Arrow last night. Just sat down to watch it and its only in bloody foreign Just started downloading a alternative!
Thats a confusing comment. How do you know season two gets better if you're looking forward to getting into it? You going by written reviews? PS...just watched episodes one to three
Until you start watching it and get to about the tenth episode its hard to explain without giving things away. It is in two parts; now and then, then being how he became Green Arrow. I am enjoying the then part more than the now but the now is very good too. The first couple of episodes of series two have been similar to the first series in that, its all about setting the platform to kick on for the rest of the series. IMO, its setting up nicely for a cracking watch.
Looks like Coogan and Brydon are doing a follow up to The Trip, if you missed this look it up as it was brilliant. Links to Imdb for both below. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1740047/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2967006/
Watched the first ep of True Detective last night, am hooked already. McCougnahy (sp?) performance is pretty dark so far, but I like it. Also love his take on the human condition
The great line just keep coming and his performance is great throughout. The finale is worth the wait.
