He is insolvent? He should know the ropes by now. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/ne...e_after_being_ordered_to_repay___4_4m/?ref=mr
Jamie want's a holiday in Iceland? He is writing a book on Icelandic cooking and is getting some pre publicity? Do you have BBQ's in Iceland, they are not much fun in Scotland, Brrrrr
What on earth did Iceland do to deserve visits from Gordon Ramsey and Jamie Oliver? I suspect there could be a human rights abuse here.......
Oh how I do like that........ Whats really good is that none of these three are going to come out of this with any profit and indeed they've all been outed in public for what they really are. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Does that make the red lion a court asset for the time being? Has it been transferred from the club anyway?
Am confused by this bit: Judge Spencer imposed a freezing injunction on Mr Bassini’s assets of up to £4.5 million until the money was repaid. Mr Bassini’s barrister, Jonathan Crystal, ask the wording of the injunction be changed to give Mr Bassini time to seek insolvency as well as legal advice following the judgement. Is that not akin to him saying "Please can I have time to hide my money & assets before declaring myself bankrupt again in order to avoid paying this?"
As far as I remember he has had his assets frozen for many months now. Maybe by stating a figure of £4.5 million it is more precise, but that could just be a legal nicety. The judge refused the offer of £100,000 to be paid in 14 days and said that it should be £150,000. I guess that he then went for the more time option, but stated that he needed advice. It seems to me that he has no intention of paying up and will seek another bankruptcy order. In addition to the money he has been ordered to pay he also has a legal bill for his defence. I am surprised that someone was prepared to defend him.
Commendable that the club is joining the council's commitment to reduce the carbon footprint of the town, but what idiot/idiots decided the match to do it was last night's one when there is the additional energy of the lighting not used on a daytime match?
It all depends on how the electricity is generated, and whether the embedded energy costs of the infrastructure for energy generation is included. Also do they include the travel of opposition supporters, etc.?
