Oh cool, another game we've completely failed to score in.

Two points dropped at the last by Northampton. That could be massive in the final reckoning.

Thank the lord for Sammy Moore of Wimbledon.

That leaves us 2 points above The Cobblers, with a slightly better goal difference

as I said previously, we have some great players, they are not showing it and for me its down to man management.....or rather a lack of it.....I have defended barker in the past, but even me who genuinely believes in giving him the chance and opportunity to do what he says he is capable , is running out of patience, we will sadly be trusting in other results going our way to season end.......proper squeaky bum time!

I listened to Steve Claridge on EFM tonight and everything he said made so much sense. He also said it so passionately.

I know this is a top of the table team so we shouldn't have expected a win but............ everyone says the players just look confused - Barker hasn't introduced any kind of stability for them from what I can see.

If Northants do improve under Chris Wilder then we will be in the conference next season - and Richie Barker is not the man the try and get us out of it.

Agree 3rd eye, RB doesn't seem to have any idea what he is doing, before or during a match.

It is obvious to anyone who watches us play, that Patrick Agyemang & Ryan Taylor cannot perform effectively together. So what does RB do in the second half ? He replaces a defender (Devera) with a striker - bold positive move - but he brings on the wrong striker ! Why Ryan Taylor, who is too similar to Agyemang in size ? Why not Drennan who is short, pacy, and can play off of a big striker.

Would have been better to also take off Big Pat (who appeared out of sorts) and bring on Jervis or Taylor for him.

So frustrating to watch, or listen to on the radio.

Just smile, sit back and relax, if we get relegated then so be it! It's not worth worrying over! (Obviously, I don't want us to be relegated)

Also I'd recommend finding a 'second team' to support, ideally a good one. My second team is Farnborough and they're doing a good job at representing north Hampshire with pride and acting as a good distraction from Portsmouth.

With the financial losses that come from going out of the FL then it actually is a worry.

1 sub with 2 more strikers on the bench.

Did you listen to his post match interviews? Not very heartening at all. Blamed the players (apart from Big Pat) and for the future? "We'll keep doing what we're doing". What we're doing is losing games - what we're not doing is scoring goals. Jed Wallace's goal was the only one scored in the whole of March.

Good luck guys as a Plymouth fan I know what you are going through and can still feel the pain, Soton fans short memories it seems, would be criminal if you went out the league for the crimes of the clowns you had in charge. Best result for me is you beat us last game, we are still promoted, and Exeter relegated on that result<ok>
Seriously really hope you are safe before the last game, would hate to put we put the final nail in the coffin. Play up Pompey, Pompey play up....... and as a fan from the 80s never thought I would say that but times move on and so must we<ok>

    Good Luck To You

I cant believe the mess you guys are in. I hope that you can stay up, it would be very much a shame if you dropped out the league due to the fools that have plagued you. All the best for the season.

Caitlin said it wouldn't be a disaster financially if we were relegated. I guess it comes down to whether he can be trusted.

Would love to know the ins and outs of barkers appointment. If we turned down wilder tisdale etc and chose him instead then the board have a lot to answer for.
It's probably just as likely that they turned up saw the state of the squad and the way the board was set up and ran for the hills.

We certainly seemed to have made an error in judgement with RB...and I wanted him to do well - but looking back I think just bringing in a decent defensive coach to work with Guy would have been better....we scored goals under Guy and looked a threat....don't deny we looked ropey at the back but that could have been fixed. Now I think we have to hope and pray that somehow we escape the drop because on the pitch I'm seeing precious little to make me think we control it ourselves.
