Gervinho

Are you for real? I think pretty much everyone dropped their hopes of getting Gervinho about a fortnight ago.

Exactly, there were no Gervinho posts for a while because no one thinks we're going to get him anymore

 

exactly thats why i posted and the same will happen every time with each different player we are linked with!

So, a few weeks back, the vast majority of people say that we aren't gonna get him anymore, then a couple of weeks pass with barely any mention of Gervinho, and THEN you feel the need to make a thread to tell us that we aren't going to get Gervinho?

And you saying "lets hope the same doesn't happen with N'zogbia" sort of sounds like you're saying that we didn't get Gervinho BECAUSE we got all our hopes up. Who cares if we have some hope? We can get excited, and then if it doesn't happen, we can just move on. We're grown adults so I'm sure we can handle it. I'd rather do that instead of 'playing it safe' and never being hopeful of any player we're linked with.

 

fair enough every one has their own opinion and mine was to say that we weren't getting him and every one knows that but like you i have voiced my own

 

But the point he was making is that it's everyones opinion not just yours

Yeah but if I want to post something about us not getting gervinho then surely I can without people telling me that i can't or that we have known for weeks now that we haven't got him I'm not as stupid as some people on here you know!

You're allowed to say whatever the hell you like. But when you make a thread saying we won't sign Gervinho, when we've known for weeks, and when the club have even said that they aren't interested in him anymore, it's just a bit... daft.
