A brilliant result away at Brighton gives us a squeak of a chance for a playoff spot going into this weeks 2 hugely important home games against Derby and Forest.

We should have nothing to fear and go into these games with some momentum as do Derby after they tonked their neighbours Forest at the weekend. The last time we played them we should have spanked them but let a 4-1 lead slip so we owe them big time. The much needed creativity that Williams provides will give us an extra dimension and we always carry a goal threat from set pieces through Tommy and Berra.

My predictions for this week are:

    Town 2 - 1 Derby
    Berra
    Williams

    Attendance 16,063

    Town 3 - 0 Forest
    Murphy
    SEB
    Hunt

    Attendance 18,923

East Midlands... Are we playing Leicester again this week ??

As for the Derby game, should suit us actually as they will probably come to have a go at us and so we can be resolute and try and counter them, I'm going to plump for a very squeaky 2-1 home win. Smith and Wordsworth with our goals

A very tough, decisive, week. 6 Points from this week will surely put us back among the front runners, especially if other results go our way.

Both will be dangerous games to really go gung-ho (not that gung ho is in MMs vocabulary but still). Derby are obiously very high on confidence but they are mostly the same players we put 4 past, a little more defensive concentration and I think a 1 - 0 victory isn't out of the question.

Forest will be a wounded animal and may get a new manager bounce but to me it looks like we've got them at the right time and the fall out from Davies departure could prove disruptive. Again i'm going optimistic and predicting a tight 1-0 victory.

Gung ho. Sounds like a cheap 70's aftershave. Lol.
Seriously tho. Derby will be looking to consolidate their top 6 place and think they'd be happy to take a point. We need all 3 to keep up with top 6. As mike says its pretty much the same players and we should've closed out the game at pride park easily. I think we can pinch it tho after Saturdays result and will be a single goal in it. 2-1 I'm plumping for. Murphy and nouble to score.
The forest game should be a little easier regardless of warnock in the dugout or not. They are close to falling apart. Missing andy Reid big time so I'm going for 3-0 Saturday. Goals from murphy,SEB and a Cressy screamer.

As is Leicester.. I was merely being pedantic and pointing out that if we were to be playing the East Midlands then Leicester would also have to be on our fixture list :emoticon-0110-tongu

    Town 3-2 Derby
    Berra, Murphy and Hyam.
Derby will have a man sent off in the first twenty minutes for a deliberate handball in the box.

Derby: 2-0 to them, goodbye and thank you, see you all next year for more of the same.

Forest: 3-1 to us, bugger and why couldn't we have played like that on Tuesday?

Town 3 - 1 Derby Smith, Berra and Chambers (seems only our defenders can score)

Town 6 - 0 Forest Smith and Berra hatricks, LOL!!

Williams goal was faaaaantastic...even more satisfying due to Derby kicking lumps out of him every time he touched the ball 1st half.

You can tell Martin has spent time playing football with Grunt Holt, what a ****ing cheat ..!
