It's still a tough ask tbh but you should never have written us off

I apologise if we lose at the weekend though, I'm going and despite going to a fair few games I actually haven't seen us win a game since the Roy Keane era :-o

    SUPER MICK McCARTHY <ok>

    Just loving this season!

With Mick as manager this team just never stops trying and never knows when it's beaten!

PTC, if you wanna read back my thread I said to be in the hunt to make the play offs we would need to win three of these four games. We've won two of them with Forest to play <ok>

Beating Derby and every other side losing, that is against all odds mate so don't be too clever <ok>

I must praise TC for getting MM to make those changes, pure quality!!

Amazing, Skuse (Mr Average at best in my opinion) misses the last two games and we win both, attack is the way mick, just listen to Spanish and TC!!

Super happy tonight, hey Warky, opened a bottle of Rioja to celebrate with, tchin tchin!!

Off topic a min. while listening to the footy me and the old man were trying to remember the last time we saw an indirect free kick, is there such a thing anymore or are all free kicks direct??

Yeah and it used to be obstruction but nearly all free kicks seem to be direct these days and as for an indirect free kick in the box.................
Oh and what about the keepers 6 second rule?

That was the worst I've seen us play for ages. The ref didn't help (Chris Martin gets a yellow card for violent conduct (WTAF), then gets away with foul after dive after foul.

The only saving grace was Jonny Williams, who could barely walk by half time, having been scythed down left, right and centre - again without punishment for the disgusting Derby players.

68 minutes in and Williams gets a clear line to goal and smashes in the equaliser. With the addition of Richardson, Ebanks-Blake and Nouble, we somehow looked like an attacking force, but we were weak on the counter and could easily have surrendered a goal or 3.

Berra heads a goal in the first minute of 5 minutes stoppage time and the ground erupts. It was the loudest I've heard Portman Road since Couñago scored that last minute winner, but straight away it's backs to the wall again. Derby pushed and pushed, but couldn't get a shot in.

I am chuffed to buggery that we won, but if we keep playing like that, I'd be concerned where the next 3 points are coming from, let alone the extra 2 we need to get into 6th.

Great result and Derby deserved to lose it. Fingers crossed we get back to form and smash the rest of the season.

Great summary Hawkins I was a nervous wreck listening to Brenner on Suffolk!

I had to change my underpants after Berra cracked one in from the corner! <laugh>

All said and done isn't it just great that our season is not over and we still have a real chance of achieving the impossible! All credit to the management and the players for turning our football club around! <ok>

Sorry I must've misunderstood most of your posts the past few months, I thought you said the season was over must've misunderstood all of your posts

As for the Skuse argument I think it's definitely one to bring up, I said at the start of the season despite him being our best midfielder I think he unbalances the side particularly if Hyam is in there because he doesn't show enough intent and it leaves the responsibility on the other player to get forward, we always look unbalanced in the midfield and I don't think he's ever really complimented his partner. Despite him being a far better than Hyam we look far more balanced with a Hyam Wordsworth partnership and Hyam actually looks much more comfortable
