Well played Swans, a point was the least you deserved out of that.

blatant bent ref giving venga time when they in our box nearly a min past full time then bottled it when we were on goal ! shocking mun.
Valuable point that could be crucial season end.

I Mean that a Draw was a great result for Swansea tonight, seen in the light of the match. If you like to haggle for 30 seconds have it your way. Refs normally blow the whistle when the ball crosses the halfway line: which the ball eventually did...

I don't think anyone is unhappy with the point, just the odd ref decision at the end.

Have to agree, the ref was slow to blow, I'm sure he'd intended to when the ball crossed the line, had Fergie been our manager we'd have seen what would have happened but not a holed ref. (And it was JdG!)
We'd had 95 minutes to score before that.

Play like that against Norwich and they'll go home with 3 points.

A point was the least that we deserved - apart from the 2 mins of madness what saves did Vorm have to make? to be denied the chance of a 1 on 1 after going overtime while Arsenal were attacking was a disgrace and we are quite rightly fuming.

anyway great to at last get something from a spirited performance and we have to take that into the Norwich game and deliver for the full 90 min. Well done boys!

Yes, he did in the World Cup finals when he disallowed a goal for Brazil. I know Clive well: we discussed the incident many times over coffee and I have the inside story from the horse's mouth as it were. Tell the story another time but it did cost him refereeing the Final itself as he was earmarked for the job.

As for tonight, I'm well chuffed with a point but I was disappointed that we fell back in the second half to defend. Two reasons. First, we are total ****e at defending for any period of time. Second, we looked good when we did attack and Arsenal looked brittle a number of times. I'm not talking gung ho stuff, leaving ourselves open to the counter, but sometimes attack is the best form of defence and I feel this was the case tonight.

Never mind, no griping, it was a great and unexpected point which might make a difference come the end of the season. Well done the lads for that.

And thats under the impressions that 4 minutes is all that we are entitled too.

The rule is that there is a MINIMUM of 4 minutes added on time. Not that it must be blown at 4 minutes, that is what fans and managers and players seem to forget at times. We were clear through on goal, 10 seconds could have seen us score which would have been 94:53

Which would have been just, as please do check what time Arsenal kicked off from the restart after our goal. Bet its pretty damn close.

Agree, think the lads played really well. When we went behind we were the ones looking more threatening. Ref bottled it by not giving a penalty when Bony got fouled plus that **** decision at the end to blow up. Probert made Mariner look bloody good.

Norwich will be far more direct and if Vorm is in goal their aerial bombardment will pay off. Other than 10 -15 minutes in the first half, we couldn't bring the ball out of defence, pass or keep possession. Things improved when Davies and Pablo came on but Michu was a presence even if he is still getting match ready.
Williams was much improved on recent performances.

Vorm was fine in goal, he done pretty well on corners, fisting away and being first to the ball when crossed in

What more can he do, esp when both of their goals were from point blank range, not many keepers would stand a chance from that range.

Thank you, Mihaela, considering the result probably extinguished Arsenal's last title chance, your comment is gratefully accepted. As it happens, I'm not a Wenger knocker because I think he's been brilliant for our league over the years. Unlike many, I'll not be supporting the underdogs in the FA Cup this year and I hope Arsenal win it to take some of the pressure off Wenger.
