    Has anyone else noticed that our corners are the fcking same time and time again? Floated to the back post for either Williamson or De Jong? And you tell me the management aren't limited??

    I think it says more about the limitations of our set piece takers personally. They seem to think "er I'll aim for Willo". God forbid they show an ability to think for themselves and react in the course of a game

    The thing for me was the teamsheet. This same XI, down to the woeful LDJ and Dummett, played on Saturday. Everton made two changes, both of whom have looked fresh and been instrumental tonight (Barkley/Deulofeu). There is no excuse for this "first eleven only" policy of Pardew, there is no way Haidara shouldn't be starting, HBA given a chance from the start instead of the usual 30 minute cameo. Yes, we're not blessed with options, but why aren't we trying to mix it up when and where we actually can??

    Understatement of the season "Marveaux will replace Mbiwa who hasn't had best of nights" <laugh> No **** Sherlock. Everton are a very good side as we already knew, but credit where its due. Well ahead of us in quality and power.
