York City striker Michael Coulson has thanked Southampton for use of Staplewood before their win against Portsmouth. He also said that being in Southampton's facilities inspired them to beat Pompey.
Well they couldn't exactly use yours, weren't you sharing with the dog walkers and Fareham U10's last week?
Seeing as our season is pretty much over, couldn't we loan Lallana, Lambert and Rodriguez to Northampton for the rest of the season?
If you really want to relegate us, you should loan one of them to each of Northampton, Wycombe and Exeter. Why would they need to use a training ground anyway? You'd have thought they'd train in the morning in York, then travel in the afternoon....
3rd from bottom and heading for the Conference on the present run of form. The only thing that is saving them at present is that two other teams are even worse. I should say, it gives me very little pleasure to see this happening to them, but if they will self destruct..?
I have sympathy with the supporters that still go along, and have remained loyal. But it does prove that you shouldn't rub success in the noses of anyone, because there is a fine line between that, and failure. PL to the Conference in 5 seasons would be quite a slide.
