    Apparently for every normal club, cyclical means a few years at the top followed by a few years out. For United, it's a few years at the top followed by just one year out then they'll be on the up again <laugh>
    Is it arrogance to believe they should be up there next year (like how many said they would be this year, just because they were the champs last season <doh>) and this season is just a blip, or is it plan ignorance to their team's huge problems which need fixing? Ask most United fans and they'll tell you Valencia, Nani and Young are trash - but last season and the season before they were amongst the top wingers around! If they want to keep them this summer, does that mean they're not garbage afterall and the team just needs a few key buys to be challengers again, or are they indeed **** (like their entire defense too) in which case, do they need half a team to be up there again?

    If I were a betting man, I'd say 3 years minimum before United are back in the CL. Too much work to do to the squad and, like Spuds have proven, you can't have wholesale changes and expect results.

    Anyway, I hope they win tonight! Lets see how close we can get to winning this thing.

    Was hoping for a flukey win for Utd tonight or maybe a draw at the worst.

    Then Moyes goes and picks Cleverley, he must hate LFC more than he likes Utd
