............. had them all sussed within seconds didn't he?

I said at the time I'd be happy for him to stay and sort the club out even if we were relegated.

We need the slackers kicking as far away from this club as possible and only players who want to be here allowed to represent a great club.

People say PDC was a maniac and went about things the wrong way but I'm not so sure.

How can someone who was so dedicated, and loved the game so much, sit back and watch people taking the ****ing piss?

Mr Short should of back PDC instead of backing the rubbish players we got. I didn't want him sack & thats one of many reasons why I still haven't took to Poyet yet.

He certainly had them sussed early on Smug and they didn`t like it one bit.

No doubting his footballing ability although his sanity may be matter for debate.

It`s all very well calling a spade a spade but calling it a ****ing shovel obviously didn`t go down very well.

I reckon Poyet`s seen through them aswell the only difference being he`s being a bit more diplomatic about it.

His recall of Wickham and his interest in watching the u21`s against Fulham u21`s?

Might reading too much into that though but certainly raises questions?

He was and will always by the easy Scapegoat for fans who'd rather bury their heads in the sand than acknowledge the bigger problem of the poison that runs deep into the squad.

Players raised their game and conned people under Poyet, just like they did with MoN and PDC. timing is different this time and they're coming unstuck before safty has been achieved. but one thing is ringing true yet again, we're ****ing rotten to the core. Poyet has done a fine job but he's only human. Rotten players on rotten contracts.

Damn right, wave one expiring in the summer. Then we've got the likes of JoS to get shot off, the man who's the patient zero of this infection, i suspect anyway.

You only need to look at our order of captains to see the problem

    JoS
    Catts
    Bardo
    Seb

He was most definitely right but he went about it the wrong way. Had he stayed we wouldn't have got passed 5 points all season. I rate him as a man, a coach and a tactician but as a manager he's going to be tucked until he sorts out his temperament.

I was always behind PDC and was not bothered that he upset the lazy twots, fans were saying we would go down under Paulo well we will probably go down anyway and we have had to watch them lazy bastards taking the piss for 3/4 of a season, I am probably one of the only fans who really enjoy the championship at least we are guaranteed to win about 30 games.

Are you all talking about the players that all supporters praised for getting us to Wembley?

Sheffield United are at Wembley despite playing ****e and playing against ****e ....... supporters support the club not the transient players.

Most of the team who played against Man City won't be there next season.

Just checking to see how opinions have changed following some bad displays, or is it the fact that those who predicted we would win at wherever are just putting a bit of salve on their wounded predictor pride?

That's what some loyal supporters do whatever the logic ... I'll always want/hope/predict Sunderland to win and there's never any wounded pride on my part.

It's much easier to predict defeats, revel in a correct prediction but claim 'no one's happier than me to be proved wrong', if we win.

Absolute ****ers is what I call them.

1-0 to Sunderland tomorrow night <ok> Haway the Lads!!!!!!

And there are those loyal supporters who stick by the club through thin and thinner and stick by the current manager and players no matter what.

Those the people who have no opinion then? Or is it possible to back your team and give an honest opinion of what you really think? This is a forum not a terrace. Manager and players always get my backing in the ground, but on here I reserve my right to have an opinion, have that opinion challenged and challenge or agree with other opinions.

Just giving a balanced view of a team that is not very good, put together by three previous managers that most reasonable people describe as average, but recent performances below average. Speaking personally, I take every game as it comes with the hope that we get something from each game. Can feel let down but would never dream of calling players whatever.

My only criticism of ANY team would be a lack of effort - which for my money we saw last Saturday. Bringing the previous manager into the equation had nothing to do with that.
