Occasionally, particularly in troubled times, perhaps it’s healthy to stop analysing, criticising and panicking and just try to enjoy the football – even if it’s just for one match preview out of 49. Step away from a situation you have no power or control over and look at the sport for what it is – a sport. If Clive wrote a bit more frequently along these lines I'd read his stuff from beginning to end. COYRs.
Good point. I thought the same when I read that. Thinking back, it was like that before the introduction of the World Wide Web and with it, internet sites such as this. An ignorant bliss if you like, where the only source of information was a newspaper or the match day programme. You'd go to the game on a Saturday, try and guess the team in the pub before the game and deliberate the match afterwards. That was pretty much the only interaction regarding QPR until the next game. But that was then and this is now and we can't un-invent any of this new fangled technology now it's here. Right pre-match meal and a quick shower for me, and then I'm off to meet CORKeR and a few of the lads down the White Horse. See if we can guess what the starting line-up is over a beer or three. COYR's !
It was two years ago ( give or take a few days ) that we embarked on our little run when we played Liverpool and won 3-2 after being two down. I feel it will be a similar crackerjack of a match tonight. I can feel it in my bones, it will be one of those I was there occasions.
Ah but your missus and your dead Nan weren't in the right place at the right time. The Bobster was though
How could you get that feeling if you have been boycotting all the games because of your hatred of anything to do with the club? It mystifies me why you still bother posting on here, it obviously doesn't cheer you up at all.
@OfficialQPR XI: Green, Onuoha, Dunne, Hill, Hughes, Kranjcar, Carroll, Barton, Benayoun, Morrison, Zamora @OfficialQPR Subs: Murphy, Simpson, Keane, Yun, Henry, Hoilett, O'Neil Yun on the bench!
On another note, I just caught a glimpse of the Six O'Clock news and thought I saw the Queen giving welcoming Jedward to Buckingham Palace! Have I entered a strange parallel Universe or summat? I hope someone can confirm that I must've been mistaken
Well done Redknapp, put the previous motm on the bench and its to bring in Dunne and move hill to lb. So hes made Lb and cb worse in one move.
