Worst team you've played this season?

Discussion in 'Liverpool' started by Jay-Rede, Mar 25, 2014.

  1. Or because Zaha is only there on loan? Not sure why you wouldn't play a loanee if they could help you avoid the drop

Must be Manchester United at OT. They conceded three penalties...very nervous for them.<ok>

well sort of see your point ie we have cissokho and moses and both are ****e which is why we don't play them as they are only on loan, but Zaha can make a dif to that team staying up.

Its the only logical explaination I can think of from where I sit. Possibly one of the reasons we are on the brink of relegation due to an owner with zero footballing knowledge getting involved in on the pitch going on's and not trying to please the fans and becoming an automatic overnight hero (not going into this debate though <laugh>)

I didn't like Zaha at all , has the utd cheat mentality stamped all over him.

Worst team we've played so far Spurs.

Clattenberg was awful, got half the decisions wrong and was hell bent on making it about him from the very first whistle.

Spurs was probably the easiest away game we have had, they played that high line for the whole game and it suited us to a tee, we could have scored eight in that game and they were lucky to have nil. At Anfield I would say Fulham are the worst team we have played.

Worst team was more than a tad harsh. If it makes you feel better then 2nd worse - no I'm only joking. As others have said you had more than a decent first half and put up a better show at Anfield than some other visitors.

If I had to pick the worst team we've played over 2 games then it has to be United. They were rubbish at Anfield and even worse at OT (1shot all game, at home against your bitterest rivals clearly shows how far they have deteriorated).

  12. And he'd do well for you too. Moses was good for us at the start of the season but that was whilst Suarez was banned so we were playing with width to supply Sturridge. Our current system does not suit Moses and we killed his confidence playing him in the hole too.

  13. If he'd had a good game and not wore his Man Utd shirt it could have been six or seven to nil too :)

not personally no, as we went at them both with high intensity and they couldn't cope, it wasn't they was ****e it was we was too good for them, have to agree about utd, esp when you think of the rivalry that exists between the 2 clubs, it was like they didn't care, my team ever get like that playing them i would be seriously pissed off.

  17. Pretty much what I was getting at. Both their sets of fans claimed their team was poor rather than us being too good on the day <laugh>

Spurs were the worst. Apocolyptically bad from the first to last whistle, united come in a close second as they were awful against us home and piss poor at mold trafford. At home probably Fulham, Arsenal or Everton....I will pick Everton because in a derby they should have shown at least a bit of fight.

  20. The first game at The Emirates was exactly that but the cup game was different, we were the better side but still lost <grr>

    PS...you hungover then?
