Our shirt sponsor for next season is already agreed(subject to Premier League survival), that wasn't what Ehab was talking about.

He has a very rich imaginary friend waiting to invest millions as long as we're called Hull Tigers, but he can't really talk about it.

It does make you wonder about future sponsors. If I was marketing director at a company who was interested in sponsoring us and then I saw all this furore, I'd walk away. Simple as.

Absolutely, we've scared off half our potential sponsors already.

"Think about it"? Give us some credit, Stanley.

Unless it was intended for Patty?

Its the bit of land that was used for a car park for HRI staff only and was leased as is not council owned as far as I know. Its on Anlaby road, on the right (away from town) just after Park street bridge. Is fenced off and now very overgrown. The people who own it didn't want to extend the lease or let the trust buy it either. Or that's what we were told in an email. They did briefly open it to the public but it was so poorly used that it closed soon after. Now looks like a big bag of crap.

Utter rubbish ^^^^ this. The Allams have already submitted names and figures to the FA as part of there presentation. Burnsy is trying to get this info out of Ehad at some point soon and it is information that may help swing the vote.

Why would it ? Sponsors want exposure and success and they dont worry about a few hissy fitting fans.

What - you mean like the way Zoopla ended their shirt sponsorship with West Brom over controversy? And are those 'hissy fitting fans' not potential customers? Why do you think Septic and Rangers often have the same sponsor? it's so they cant boycott the product over association.

I dont know how much Zoopla is worth to WBA per season to even carry this on. I would suggest that it is alot less than the PL TV money though.

Doesn't look like it's done them much good.

True. They probably worry more about a loopy ****ing owner.

No person or organisation has ever offered us money based on a name change, even Assem and Ehab don't claim they have.

Our new kit sponsor didn't even know anything about the name change when they agreed terms.

As regards the Siemens announcement I would just like to say congratulations to whoever got this past the winning post whatever political affiliation they may have. What with City Of Culture status and now investment instead of closures and firms relocating elsewhere good news seems to be flowing Hull's way. Its inevitable that there is a lot to do as regards to bringing Hull up a not or two we have been knocked down so many times over the years I wondered if we were going to be in the wilderness for ever more. But with a Premier League team, £300 million of investment and the Culture thing I am loathed to say things are on the way up for a change as I have a habit being a bit of a Jonah, just ask my mates who put bets on certainties then watch with disbelief as their horse, and many other people's horse, comes in second, third or even nowhere at all on some occasion, as you may guess I rarely bet myself. :(

Will there be a good boost to the Business Rates for the city? Or are rates not payable in the Green Port?

It's probably an enterprise zone, so there wont be any(I'm guessing).
