Gareth Rogers announced as new CEO

Gareth has held the position of Interim Chief Executive for the past two months, and has worked at the Club since March 2011.

Krueger:

"It gives me great pleasure to announce, on behalf of the Board, that Gareth has been appointed as our new CEO. Gareth has done an excellent job leading our operation through a challenging & transitional period over the past two months. His appointment is another important step forward for our leadership team as we continue to grow this great Club."

Rogers:

"I look forward and am excited by the challenge of helping the Club to grow, both on and off the pitch"

So Cortese did the job of two people?

Cortese did the job of everybody on the Board. I think he made coffee for supporters on one occasion, as well.

That was the first thing I've read that makes perfect sense and suggests that the vision and the Southampton Way will continue.

 

Know nothing about him, but just pleased we kept someone who has been here a few years. Am always wary when there is a total clear out. I wonder if he will find it easier to work with Katharina and Ralf than with Nicola

 

Not quite as handsome as Cortese, but probably less of a megalomaniac.

 

We now have two Teams, hope they can all get it together and move us upwards and onwards.

 

I prefer his brother Kenny.
