Agree Billy but one major snag, Cellino said last night Leeds needs a cash injection in a matter of hours not days. How could we continue to operate given an appeal would take several weeks to set up and get a result from. Thanks to the fecking about for the past two months, we seem to have run out of time

Is it me, or does Cellino really appear to care?

I think Cellino feels embarrassed by having his name trashed by a bunch of clowns, because I would hate it too. He actually said that it was the Leeds fans that want him and for them he is willing to appeal this, but he also accepts he may have lost a lot of money keeping the club afloat when he didn't need to.

The more this drags on the more I want the guy in.

I know one of Farnans backers and even he admitted he didn't have the money to get the club where it should be.

    Morning All,

I just don't know what to think or what to expect atm. I'm just completely stunned.

One thought I've flirted with - I wonder what would happen if the FL applied the test to the directors in situ. Might be some interesting findings there!

Unless the father gave the son monies to pass the fit and proper test.

In which case why can't Cellino jnr own us?

He took over the family firm........
Gaining all the wealth into the process...
Ironically enough Oyston is an estate agent.

Oyston is however a convicted/declared bankrupt. If you remember at the time of their promotion there was a massive stink because he failed the premier leagues fit and proper test. They brushed it under the carpet, even though they didn't have a ground that conformed to prem standards. They actually gave Blackpool cash advances so that Oyston could develop a new side to the ground but they had to also play home games away until the ground was finished.

Whats the difference here? well we have a potential owner who's not a bankrupt, wants to repurchase the ground and invest millions ....

On another note, if the FL want to clean up football's image, shouldn't they be having a fit & proper test for players, to weed out the rapists, druggies etc. And as for managers that assault a player on the field ...

    Dual standards IMHO.
