i think its better than 2009. in 2009 we were close in dec and lost it and played catch up. right now we are 4 points back, tomorrow (thanks guys) we could be one point back..... either we'll stay in or fall out over one or two games. it'll be exciting but its far more real this year.

why.. cos i think with SAS if an injury comes we switch to 4-3-3 and paly one of the two.... either man will take it as a challenge. in 2009 if torres pulled a hammy it was OVER. period.

we've by all probabilities taken top 4. it can't be confirmed for a while but i think we are playing for 3rd or 2nd at worst <ok>

1st is on if we see one city fubar.

Best bloody feeling for years!!!!! All is gain. Baring a complete collapse we've got CL for next year. According to the 'experts' we weren't likely to achieve that. So we can now go head to head with any body and say "out-score us if you can" with a big grin on our faces.

We are the only top 3 side that go into these final matches with no fear and that counts for a lot.

    I hope so.

Fear is hard to predict but i just think that the guys like gerrard and suarez are most important in driving that.

in the end Skertl and suarez have league winning experience, so had johnson but he doesn't show it. Sturridge has some too! Flanagan, minger, allen, henderson have no clue.. sterling hasn't a notion of fear.

I think if the senior guys give everything they'll drag the rest along. The nice thing is playing at anfield means a player like henderson or allen who might freeze or play negatively when cheslea and city come when we actually need to go at them.. well being o nhome truf might just make the difference for them compared to say FA cup final v cheslea where several froze.

We are 99.01% to finish top 4 and are doing a good job of securing 3rd place too

Still the target for me. Win these next two home games and we have top 4, then its continuing to fight for top 3 (which helps a lot) and maybe an outside chance at the title.

Mata scored 1 goal for Chelsea this season. He has scored fewer for Man Utd.

  11. 76.7% of stats are made up :)

How are Rooney and Vidic in the best XI? Vidic I can understand to a degree because beyond Kompany, neither of them have a quality CB (nor do we it seems <laugh>) but as Rooney really been better than Negredo? Not for me he hasn't!

Cant disagree with the top team, United havent been playing well. Not sure how Vidic makes it.

Second team reminds you just why Robbie Savage should be ignored. Smalling been playing as a right back, Nani hasnt been playing, young is awful but valencia makes him look like the worlds best, Fellaini has barely played and Mata has been here 2 months.....

  14. The underperforming team is always going to reflect harshly when being composed from only two clubs. As you said, Nani's not been playing and Mata's not realyl had any time there yet. Plus, if you going to include those types then surely the keeper should be Lindeguard rather than Hart? Seems like a half-hearted job with a chance to bemoan players.

Yep, chance for some idiot to have a dig. Doesnt work though if it makes little sense and just makes the author look like an idiot.
