I don't like it what is going on in the far corner in the first pic? did the architect get bored with seats?
Looks like a very nice stadium and so presumably the design and functionality of it has had no input from the overblown air head behind it or his vile Wife
Yeah I'm not an overpaid, over hyped petulant twat. And so I never stood a chance Lucky escape for me
I used to live in Fort Lauderdale, just up the road from Miami and the location there is superb. The Miami Heat play in the same location and there are good bars and restaurants there on the waterfront. The whole idea of stia over here is different - they are seen as an economic engine that provides both entertainment and enrichment for the population as well as tax revenue for the city. I haven't looked into the funding in detail but most pro sports teams here get the City and / or state to pick up a chunk of the cost, usually by pledging bed tax or tourism taxes to fund the stadium. The Miami Marlins built a new ballpark (baseball) close to the international airpoirt a few years back and it is breath-taking. Pity that the team sucks. Sports is everything here - it takes pride of place over the quality of the schools and colleges and other public services. It's hard to get used to at first. Overall the design reminds me of the Amex Stadium at Falmer which is also superb....and look what moving there did for B&HA! Overall I'm not that impressed with the AG rework but if it's that or nothing, then we'll take it.
I was in miami in December we stayed at the intercontinetal over looking the water front, that would fit in well and would be rammed to the rafters.
