it's alright, we don't want him to come to us either. wouldn't be an automatic first teamer, can't see him getting the nod over Ben Arfa. Undoubted quality, but not Prem proven and is a first class twat. 10mil is a bit much too. Oh, and looking forward to next season Good luck you lot, just not against us
Great words from your captain 'No disrespect, but if we keep the same players, it will be very difficult to stay in the Premier League when you are playing Man United and Chelsea'...wonder how that will sit with the players. I often wonder if we should just let him go as it will happen sooner rather than later but is he irreplaceable?
Agreed Northolt, some of our players will do a good job at fighting relegation, but its a fight I don't personally feel they will be successful in.

I completely agree but just wonder how it will do for morale, when the captain should be getting behind the players. Maybe with a few shrewd signings and the owners pulling out their cheque book, we can tempt him to stay.
At the end of the day, the story is probably crap. He WAS our star player last season, but he is unproven in the Premiership and Savage did have him in his pocket in the game at LR. I can't see any club taking him until he has had the chance to prove he can cut it. Another thing is, no matter how good he is, no player is bigger than the club.
If he wasn't a childish and petulant twat he wouldn't have ended up with us in the first place and he certainly wouldn't still be here. His theatrics and antics are a small price to pay for his brilliance on the pitch. As it stands we could well go down but without him we haven't a chance. We all know what he's like- he'll be his usual mix of crap and superb when the first ball is kicked, he'll score a screamer or two, take the piss out of a full-back here and there and move on somewhere as we finish somewhere between 15th and 20th.
Runaway league leaders to 'cheats' to Champions to another divided boardroom to contempt for the long-suffering fans to uncertain investment to great manager on thin ice to relegation favourites months before a prem ball has been kicked - and all within just a few short months... Is it any wonder our fallen idol is coming out with such self-centred, mercenary crap? Ain't as though thinking and due sensitivity is any player's strong point - much less young, misguided, delusional Ideal Taarabt. Would he be talking like this if we were stable and had a few interesting players coming in? And if the answer was 'yeah, probably', would it matter so much? If it hasn't happened already, can't be long before every headline includes the words, 'Crisis Club QPR' - again. Not much of a prospect, all this, is it? 'Never felt more like singing the blues. Rangers win... and back come the Goons. Oh Rangers, just singing the blues.'
Ok, this is weird. When I was saying we'd be better off cashing in on Tarbs because he might not make it next year, people were shooting me down. Now people are having a go at him, I agree with what he's said! Why is it that my opinion always seems to be the complete opposite of the main stream supporters? Maybe its because I'm supporting from afar and hence the different viewpoints, I dunno. But its pissing me off a bit quite frankly!! Taarabt is spot on with his assertion that we're not good enough at the moment. We haven't a prayer without significant investment. Why shouldn't an ambitious player voice his opinion about the lack of ambition from his Club and currently a useless Premier League squad? Fair play to him for speaking out. Its the first sensible thing I've ever heard him say.
Making friends already! ============== QPR's Adel Taarabt keen on transfer to 'not very big club' Newcastle QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt has revealed he is interested in a transfer to Newcastle United, as he does not feel he needs to be with one of the country's biggest clubs yet. Taarabt now plans to leave Loftus Road, but seems to have forgotten about his previously stated desire to move directly to Arsenal or Chelsea, and wants to secure a £10 million transfer to a club he believes would act as a stepping stone to the top. And the club in question is Newcastle. 'People say Newcastle will be good for me, that the fans love players like me. It is fantastic to play in front of 50,000 supporters every week,' Taarabt told the Mail on Sunday. 'I do not need one of the very big clubs at this stage of my career.' If he does end up at Newcastle, Taarabt may find he has his work cut out to win over the Toon Army, as some fans on Twitter were unhappy with his remarks and questioned why the club would want to buy a player who was already planning to leave them before he had even signed. Are these his words or the words of his agent? Is it something to do with Warnocks comments on Saturday saying that he'd probably "be sick of him by Christmas"? I really wont be that sad if he does go because let's face it, the chances of him being anywhere near as effective as he was last season are almost nil. It's a very good trait to have so much self confidence as a person, but in a footballer, who's general IQ is pretty much at the level of an ant, we get Adel, who thinks that he's gods gift and can do and say what he wants. But it will be quiet nice seeing him fall flat on his face when he does move and has his initials stamped on the subs bench at whatever club he arrives at. Let's face it, with Adel he would still be coming out with this rubbish even if he was playing for Barcelona.
