Well - 2 games ago we played Palace - we all said We'd be happy with 4 points from the next 3 games - We're still well on for that with Wednesday's gamer against a misfiring defence at Liverpool.....................................................

    OK I'll get me coat!

Anything other than a decamation of our goal difference is a good result. Id park the bus and I wouldst care what anyone said or thought we are fighting for our lives.

Frightened for our goal difference from our 2 games in hand, could easily concede 10

This is a problem, as this season could well go down to goal difference.

I would just go for it, Liverpool will be expecting us to park the bus, they are good enough to score 3 or 4 goals even if we do that, if we take them by surprise we might actually get a couple ourselves. 4-2 is better than 4-0

We'll have Dossena at left back - doesn't give us much of a bus to park really.

I would play a sweeper system with bridcutt or colback behind a back five using Carlos Q as a third centre back, its worth a try, and I propose this in desperation rather than hope. I would also consider using AJ up front on his own in a 6 3, 1, formation for Wednesday. We are in a bit of a mess for this game, but Gus has not tried the format most would like to see even with Borini available. It is time to start thinking inside and outside the box, and this game should be considered as an opportunity, for a badly needed change of direction. Over to you Gus, haway the Lads.

I don't envy Gus picking a team for this game. Whatever he does we're likely to get murdered. I'd say:

    -------------Mannone
    -----Bards JOS Wes Dross

    ------------Catts Brid

    ---------AJ Ki. Giacch

    ------------Wickham

We need a similar display to Cup Final, a slice of luck and a bit of complacency from Liverpool. They might just start to feel the pressure of the title race now they are in the thick of it.

Our defence has the ability to completely switch off and shoot ourselves in the foot, I predict the game on Wednesday will be a painful thing to watch
