Anyone know if there is a way of hiding a thread so it won't appear on the list of threads and it won't keep appearing at the top every time there's a new post?

    Cheers

Just go to C:\Windows\System32 on your computer and delete all files and folders - just press yes when it asks you for administrator permissions.

A quick survey of the replies I've got so far shows that your statement is 50% correct.

    EDIT: 75% correct now.

In your control panel view click to show all "subscribed" threads and tick the ones you don't want notifications for when they receive a reply.

I'm not subscribed to any threads.

I'm talking about when, for example, one regularly goes to a certain 'page' and the threads with the most recent posts show at the top. I want a particular thread to never show up at the top.

I don't feel the need to be, and certainly don't feel the need for 'notifications'.

Pretty sure a truly helpful link wouldn't be a '.gif' file.

Again, nice try though. Think I'll move on. It's pretty tedious here.

Don't be ridiculous Dev - if he doesn't read it he won't have anything to bitch about or be offended by!
