We're better at keeping clean sheets at home so I'm homing for a comfortable win.

All depends on the start, if we come out fast and get an early goal, it could be a comfortable night.
Longer it goes with Sunderland in the game then it could be squeaky bum time!

    Just dawned on me...
If City lose to either United or Arsenal, then the Title is in our hands, we win out, we win...

    Lose or draw!

First time that I can remember when I've wanted Manure to get a result <ok>

We'd still need to break a winning streak record though to do it.....unlikely but so was top 4 this year!

I think we will blow them away tbh. We're at home against a team in the relegation zone. Anything less than a solid win would surprise me

"Keeping them quiet" seems to be an idea that hasn't occurred to our team this season. The philosophy just seems to be let them do what they want and score more. :)

I know we are confident of it, but win these next two home games and top 4 is guaranteed imo.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers urges supporters to get into the ground early and build an atmosphere ahead of their match with Sunderland on Wednesday. His side are now four points behind leaders Chelsea with a game in hand. "Hopefully the supporters can really get behind the team well before kick-off, get the atmosphere revved up for the game and we'll look to continue on this great run," says Rodgers.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says the Reds are "on the right road" to becoming English champions for the first time since 1991.

The Reds are second in the Premier League, four points behind leaders Chelsea with a game in hand.

"It may or may not be this year but there's no doubt we're on the right road to winning a title here," says the Northern Irishman ahead of Wednesday's home Premier League match against Sunderland.

"We are nowhere near the finished article. There is a hell of a long way to go this season, but the players playing with no fear."

You lads are unplayable at the minute & I'd gladly take a narrow defeat so as to keep our better than most around us goal difference.

We've recalled Whickham, and my feeling is that Giaccherini will fill in for Fabio, they will be the 2 most likely to produce.

If I could choose a champion, would be you lads, for Jordan, but clearly if we get anything from this I'll be utterly delighted.

    <ok>

TBH, I'd take a 1-0. Three points is all that matters. Of course I'd be happier with 4-0, 5-0, 6-0 or something similar butting its all about winning at this stage of the season for us now.

I'd like to say I hope you guys stay up but I can't. The most annoying gobby lad on our Sunday League team is a Black Cat and I want you to go down just so I can give him some ****. Nothing else against you guys bar the many ex-mancs <laugh>

It's in our hands mate but the worry is that we simply cannot beat the teams around us.

We are more likely to get something from you than we were at Norwich, and for me that is a blatant attitude issue with our squad, suggesting they think they don't need to step up against the lesser teams.

If going down is what it takes to get rid of some of the wasters we have, then so be it, painful as it would be to potentially be in a league with Yeovil & Leyton Orient.

  15. That is a mental issue IMO too. Its had a distinct smell of "we've won this already" type of attitude. Maybe a shop window approach? "play well against the better sides and we might get picked up". I know the feeling though pal, Liverpool have been like it for years prior to this season. The mental side of the game is something that Brod is very keen on and was banging on about last season. To use a cliche; you have to earn the points.

I still believe we'll scrape over the line, I have to, and if we do Gus will have us a decent side next season.

If we don't, well fortunately we have good infrastructure and contracts are signed with a built in 40% decrease on relegation, the benefits of a self mad multi-billionaire businessman as owner I guess.

I tell you now though, rose tinted glasses or otherwise, no way on gods earth, with the correct application from the ****ers, should we be bottom 3. Not a chance.

All that matters is the league table sadly, and games in hand are worthless if you can't win games.

A lot of the player who were performing, AJ, Ki, Bardsley, well since the cup final they have been woeful, and this just compounds the annoyance.

Apparently Fletcher is out too and conor Wickham is being recalled.

    Does limit their options.
