If you find a man wearing shin pads hilarious, you have the most f**ked sense of humour I have ever encountered
And how successful were you in those campaigns before you all knelt down to suck up the oil money from Abramovich's teat. Your club and your history is Abramovich. That's pretty depressing
Nothing to do with a man wearing shin pads, it's to do with the club telling him to wear them. Come on you have to admit that's funny. I actually fully understand him wanting to lift the trophy
There's no kit rule - at least not from UEFA - if you find it though, post it here because it will be interesting to finally track it down if it actually exists.
Jog on mate. Stop bringing everything back to a history lesson / bitching about Roman, it's ****ing boring. If you can answer what experience is currently at Liverpool that knows how to successfully manage a good league and European campaign maybe you can fill in for foredeckdave who has gone into hiding.... Otherwise we'll stand by the view that Liverpool will struggle more next year with an extra 10-15 games to worry about.
We've been through this before, players not taking part in the final were instructed to wear kits by UEFA. Stop being a ****ing pedant and accept there is nothing wrong with what Terry did.
You can say that as much as you like but it simply isn't true. There's video and photographic evidence of euro finals and how players, injured/suspended players dressed, going back years, why would UEFA just happen to invent a 'rule' the years you won euro trophies? And as for there being nothing wrong, maybe not, but that was never the point - it's just hilarious, if you can't see that or accept it, it shows a lack of sense of humour tbh
There you go: "Terry was following orders Chelsea captain John Terry was the subject of widespread derision for changing into his kit during the Champions League final despite being banned for the match. But it has emerged that a UEFA edict called for suspended players to collect their medals in team shirts rather than suits so the trophy presentation pictures looked more uniform." http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/ar...-Roy-Hodgson--Charles-Sale.html#ixzz2wtvI4wVU
Maureen's premier league record v Liverpool: Seems your memory let's you down. At Anfield and SB in the league, we battered you five times in a row. You can post as many newspaper and football sites as you like - there is no rule Why did this dress code 'rule' only appear to apply to your finals?
Did suarez do much when we faced him earlier this season? I remember us pressing him well whenever he got the ball and we ended up dominating the game. Anfield doesn't really scare me, was a lot more nervous when we had to go to city.
