not sure about the ignorant bit but agree 100% with the rest. The idea of this board is a place for fans to gather and have their say, I dont think there is a right and wrong we all have opinions and should be allowed to voice them without abuse, its only the abuse I object to.

    Ha ha,

My 'brave face' is currently preparing the meat and such for the poolside BBQ we're haveing this afternoon, it's glorious sunshine, 28 degrees, and there's a nice breeze to keep you cool.

My face feels very brave today my old peanut ;)

then why not delete a comment if it has abuse from one makem to another, have a vote on it, anyone using abusive language if not directed at a mag will have the said comment pulled.

Not a route we wanna go down Rog, let people read the comments and make their own decision on who's in the wrong, the heart of debate.

Let's not pretend that all Sunderland fans are lovely people, i, for one, am a reet bell end.

Understand your sentiment Roger but I agree with BB best not to go down the censoring route, we usually do ok with the self moderation. If someone wants to call me an ignorant twat fine with me, most of the time I am. <ok>
I still stand by my right to express that ignorance. <ok>
What actually boiled my piss most, was the accusation of "using" my son.
But as I won't be responding to the said poster again, no longer a problem.

Just as bad as swearing at a fellow Mackem to me is this sudden surge of certain posters, calling others part of a "clique" or a "brigade" or having an "agenda"!
    WTF?
Do they meet in secret in the Blue Bell and organise their opinions?
I'm feeling left out as usually I agree with them but haven't been invited. :p
How come the Bruce supporters aren't a brigade? :)

I just love the way they put their points over as if what they are saying is correct, any other comment other than agreement is a conspiracy???

Did I call you a happy clapper?
    Don't think so!

Did I ever say your opinion wasn't valid?
    Don't think so!

Have I tried to intimidate you?
    Don't think so!

Have I used snidey comments and name calling against you?

I didn't get mine last season but I went to most games. Only didn't get it as my wife had a baby girl in August and couldn't afford it.

Got it this season as, no matter how bad things are, I will always (as long as I can afford it) get my season ticket. All about how deep your love runs imo and mine is so deep that I can't avoid the club
