Not really the standard of striker we should be courting. He is in and around Girouds level and I'd give giroud the edge with his support play. Waste of time and money.
I hope this isn't true. We need a striker who could be mentioned in the same sentence as Aguero, Suarez and Negredo, not another second tier striker on the cheap. We should be aiming high. The excuses have run out for me. Our profit potential has increased dramatically recently with the sponsorship deals, we need to buy a top rated striker, nothing else is acceptable.

For me its either a World Beater like Cavani/Falcao/Costa or a potential World beater like Balotelli/Morata. Another £10-15m Giroud standard 15-20 goal a Season striker would be a total f**king waiste of money.
Morata isn't potentially world class. His goal a week ago aside, Real fans are beyond exasperated with him. Its Jese that is considered the one with any sort of future. If you bought him it would be a new Sanogo or Bendtner - potential that isn't close to being refined. If he can't play well with the likes of Ronaldo, Bale, and Alonso behind him he's hardly going to thrive anywhere else. Yes he is young but he hasn't proved himself when he has had the chance. Jese on the other hand has. If you really want a class striker, higher standard is needed than Morata.
Can have Bony for £30 million Everybody can see that you guys need a £30-£40million striker that can get 25+ goals a season. The worry for you is that a top 4 finish and an FA Cup win will probably lead Wenger to thinking he doesn't need to spend the money on quality strikers.
Doubt it. Hint it's clear to everyone including wenger that we need an additional striker. Not sure why so many fans think they are so amazingly clever yet wenger can't see these things.
Well why didn't he buy a striker in January? Wenger has cost you the league this season because of his inability to pull his stubborn head out of his arse and buy a world class striker.
I would be happy if we signed Remy. I am hopefully we can take him to the next level, Liverpool signed Suarez from Ajax, Sturridge was surplus to requirements at Chelsea, and look them now... I would much rather get someone we can mould rather than the finished article!
You've just highlighted another problem with Wenger. He has far too much say in our finances! His job should be to provide a list of players to improve the squad. All matters concerning how much we pay should be taken out of his hands. If this happened I still wouldn't want him to stay. The tactical problems I talked about on my thread are preventing us from moving forward.
Remy ISNT someone we can mould. He will be 28 next Month and frankly does'nt have top class ability. He's a very simular player to Defoe. Sharp around the box but just not nothing special.
We need to build a proper squad and therefore I would take him in a heartbeat. Look at Man City's strike force. Also Remy can play wide as well. To get that amount of goals he has for a pretty **** Newcastle team is very impressive. I would take him and Manzukic.
If we signed Remy there is NO WAY Wenger would bring in another striker on top of that. I would rather we signed...
