Awful result, but still in our own hands with our home games. But my worry is if they're happy with a point (all but Cardiff probably will be) they'll sit back and we'll have no chance of breaking them down

Cardiff and Fulham are down, we just have to escape from one spot...

Can't say I'm looking forward to Liverpool

    I don't think it's Poyet's fault

We just have a **** squad, how he's managed to get us to where we are is a miracle as far as I'm concerned

Next summer will be very interesting, continue as we have been in terms of transfers and we'll go down.

Bruce, O'Neill and De Fanti/Di Canio have left us with a championship standard squad.

Neither do i mate, so then you have to question the heart of the side?

Do the loan players think 'oh well, i'll go back to my parent club?'

Are the soon to be out of contract players thinking 'not bothered, wont be here anyway'

That first half show was ****ing shocking, gus picked the team gus picked the tactics and gus was the last person to speak to them before they entered that pitch

Not blaming gus as i love him, but they played like a bunch of clueless wimps in that 1st half

If we down its been a long time coming. I'd rather go with poyet than Bruce, O'Neil, pdc.

Looking at the table, 6 teams are going at less than a point per game so I reckon 36/37 points will keep 17th up. We have ten games to get 11/12 points.

Im not as down in the dumps as I thought I would be.

Must beat West Ham. I normally believe we'll pull a shock away result out of the hat but think we've had ours for the season at Everton. Can see us losing all away games now so we need 3/4 home wins. More worried than I've been at any stage. In no way do I question we've got the right manager though, even if we do go.

That might have something to do with it but if so, they`re doing themselves no favours if they want another club.

I still believe that we will survive this season,as the OP points out we have our future still in our hands. We have games in hand over most of our rivals, and a bit of spirit and hard work from the lads will see us survive!
