I've read a few more posts, and I'm willing to believe this good team will be strengthened in the summer. It will also come back the stronger and more experienced for next season, and will cease to loose these types of games. This is keeping me content........ for now.
Morgan's prescence wouldn't have stopped Clyne or Lovren ****ing up. He would have added some steel to the midfield, not sure the result would have been different though. Need to have more shots on target when on top, again today it was only 4 efforts & Spurs keeper didn't really have a serious save to make.
A horrible afternoon. In a pub full of Spurs fans, I bit my lip at both of our goals. Didn't even gloat at my mate (much) when we were 2-0 up. But when the camera focused on Tim Sherwood's celebrations after their winner, I spontaneously blurted out "**** off Sherwood!" Got some choice looks to say the least.
Hope Poch gives them a bollocking. The best managers, even if thoughtful & calm on the surface, should have that switch they can flick to ensure there is an element of fear their players have for ****ing up.
We played well for 30 minutes. We played average to poorly for 60 minutes. We were not unlucky or unfortunate, we made stupid errors and showed physical & mental weakness.
Because the majority of them have come on leap and bounds this year and this is the premiership they are playing in. Too much whinging going on here.
Yes, that's a positive for the whole season. Can't really see it as a positive in isolation in regards today's performance & result. Which I believe is the topic of this thread.
Got everything to do with todays performance as they are a young team who will make mistakes during their development.
