Coates has zero get up and go and that's the key for young players IMO, you've got to grab chances with both hands

 

That's Sigurdsson goal was apparently "the most important of the goals he's scored". Really? Why...? Because it got them 3 points that will help them towards finishing 5th, rather than 6th?

 

Not signing Sigurdsson might cost us...

The summer transfer window will take care of all our needs for next season, or did you forget that every club as well as yoonited are entitled to strengthen for the new season.

Overall this weekend was good for Everton's CL hopes. The bookies cut their odds a bit after the last minute Spurs winner but Everton's 2 games in hand still give them more hope than Spurs.

Next year is important for Alberto.

I'd sell Coates. Its patently obvious he won't make it in this League.

Or at least at a club in the top half of the table.

 

That's true, our squad is too small to cope with Europe & the PL at the moment. It all depends on what sort of summer window we have. If we can sign a good 3rd choice striker, sign a good attacking wide player or two, a central midfielder and two good full backs plus welcome the likes of Enrique & Borini back and keep our current squad together we'll be in a good position to challenge on all fronts. Big ask to get all those signings right but even if we just get a quality attacking winger/midfielder in and a centre mid we'll be in a great position to remain competitive in the PL while challenging in the CL.
