Unfortunately those four straight wins for WH really should be enough for them. They can pretty much stumble over the line from here.
Quite possibly, but their run in is pretty hellish...fail to win one of their next three and they'll be in peril.
Agreed. However, there are enough games remaining between the relegation contenders that it might not matter, if they choose the wrong moment to lose form.
Solksjaer (sp) answered the questions about Cardiff politely on Sky, but then walked off saying he couldn't care less when asked about Liverpool's title credentials. They looked surprised in the studio, but I can understand that you are hardly likely to care about teams at the top when you are struggling (especially an ex.ManU player asked about Liverpool).
But if Sunderland win one of their games in hand, then WHU will only be 3 points off the bottom three! However, I do agree unfortunately that there are three worse teams than them....
I did a bit of research on the last ten seasons and over the final seven games the mean increase in 18th position was 6.3 points. We have a bit of a false position because Sunderland have those three games in hand.So by awarding them three points for those 18th place comes in on 28points.That hints at a 34 point finish. The range incidentally was 3-10 points, both of those being once, and therefore most likely the outliers.
Reminds me of Mauricio a few months back when asked a particularly stupid question. He went on a bit in Spanish...David paused, then answered, finishing with the comment that it was what Mauricio said but politer.
Sunderland are right back in it again. At least if they go down we have more chance at picking up some points from whoever replaces them.
Cardiff are fighting for their lives tomorrow. This is probably one of their last realistic chances of getting a win.A draw would not reaaly be much use to either.
We got out of jail after our defeat to Swansea with only Palace making headway. Is there any other view than Sunderland,Cardiff,Fulham?
No those 3 seem intent on heading down. Fulham are improving a little under magath but too little too late, Cardiff seem to want to go down just to spite vince tan and Sunderland to me seem to be getting worse, they have games in hand but based on their form lately that wont help. It would take a collapse from one of the others (Palace, WBA or your lot) to change it from current standings.
Yes have to agree. Norwich have a tough run in but should have enough. One of the current bottom 3 will have to do a Wigan to escape!
