There are times to pass out from the back and times to hoof. I never feel that Boruc has the balance right. If we do lose possession I'd rather it was in the oppositions half than just outside our own penalty area. I hate the principal of 'hoofing'. Apart from it not being pretty to watch, ultimately, as you say, it will often end in losing possession. But it has its place. Against Norwich it was more luck than judgement that we got away with it. Its not as if we regularly keep possession all the way to scoring a goal after a short pass out from Boruc.
Good spot...don't think he would travel if he had no chance of playing. perhaps they are going to check after another nights rest.
