Fergie will be turning in his old folks home Seriously though, I mean hes injured and not in the squad but it says he ran for the taxi but thats prob bollocks Non story although he seems a cocky git
I don't agree that any player should be drinking alcohol, particularly enough to put him in to such a state that he's chanting in the streets. Footballers get paid a lot of money, so they should be looking after there body's not going out on heavy nights out. It's not that big a sacrifice to make, when you consider the money there earning. If I was Moyes I'd give him a hefty fine for this incident, which isn't the first one he's been involved in
Alcohol is a toxin to your body, just the same as smoking is. Pizza's whilst not being the healthiest thing you can eat, aren't going to do an active athlete any real harm, aslong as he is eating them as part of a balanced diet, and not eating them every night
The point is that you can put in impurities as long as they are moderately and only occasionally consumed. If you think it's only booze you're having a laugh. There are still many a player that likes a sniff too Cough Rio cough.
I wouldn't disagree with that, I just think when your being paid thousands and thousands a week by your club, you should be looking after your health as much as you can, and Alcohol is very harmful, and it can make a difference at to your performance, particularly at the top level. You don't see the likes of Chris Hoy or Jess Ennis out on the piss, so I don't see why footballers should be any different. Gareth Bale doesn't touch a drink, and that's why he is now living the dream in Madrid, and is one of the best players in the world
As soon as sports medical research shows that drinking a week before a game affects your performance there will be no drinking written into contracts. Some smoked, like Ginola, and he could run all ****ing day
