    GOAL - Tottenham 0-1 Arsenal - Tomas Rosicky
    An absolute grade-A thunderbolt from the left peg of Tomas Rosicky. Arsenal's first attack seems to have floundered on a piece of miscontrol from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain but Rosicky thrashes a laser-like shot straight down the barrel and into the top corner from the angle. What a start.

    So AOC miscontrols and gets an assist - the stats never lie!

    Spuds had 59% possession, 17 shots, only 2 on target. No longer does possession ensure a result in the game, more down to good finishing and keeping it tight at the back, something we should concentrate on, we have the players to do it.

    Doubt Fergie is going back...he would be a fool to do that and damage his reputation. United won last season because other teams let them...they were already on the slide then, but Fergie dragged them over the line. I know records will show that they won easily, but they were not the United team of old. Moyes is not a bad manager, but he has lost it at Old Trafford. He is like the transition affair after the break up of a long-term marriage.

    Man U's players just aren't very good. Ferguson got the absolute best out of them. Vidic and Ferdinand have aged, Evra's been declining for the last 2/3 seasons, Smalling is awful and Jones is overrated. Their strikers are good, but Nani and Valencia aren't playing as well as they were a couple of years ago, same with Young, Fellaini has done nothing and Carrick hasn't been as good as he was last season. Constantly changing the team doesn't help either.

    Why is Steve Bruce getting angry about the decision of the Hart spitting incidence? Looked clear to me...what does everyone else think?

    I'm not convinced. It looked more like spittle coming out as he turned and shouted angrily. 60:40 I'd call it as not spitting. If he had spat, I think there would have been a lot more spittle.

    Strangely, Sky showed the incident clearly before it was dealt with. Now that Bruce is sounding off, they are only showing an edited version as if they don't want him to look daft.

    When he spat there was definitely something flying across the gap but it may have been a blob of chewing gum rather than spit?
