He's asking people to vote and CTWD are providing their case for voting a certain way. What is wrong with that?
Just a suggestion here, obviously you can't do leaflets but maybe one of your group (or a voulenteer on here) has time tonight to print the advert across several pages, stick them together and have the advert displayed as one or two really big signs tomorrow? It would only take half an hour or so to do and would be the best exposure.
It's over - the CTWD movement has prevailed. Well done from the 'silent majority' (I've elevated myself to spokesman on their behalf ) AA might appeal but would he try a legal challenge against the FA that might drag on for years - I doubt it. He's a beaten man - let him lick his wounds rather then deliver another blow.
It certainly wouldn't make a jot of difference then. If the players can't motivate themselves for a cup final/semi final, even if only for themselves, then to be honest they can **** off with him.
I'm against the name change, the guy I was replying to said that people should be left to make their own decision without things such as this CTWD advertisement but I said that you can't vote if not informed about what you were voting on.
Would you bet against him trying a legal challenge ? He obviously hasn't given up as he is now having a ballot that he has always insisted wasn't needed
Yeah, the timing of the advert is pure PR genius. Try to influence people after the majority of people have voted.
The advert is out online everywhere tonight, it will be in the HDM on Tuesday. The West Stand ballot box isn't open for tomorrow's game and you can't currently vote on a phone. We'll still get our message over to plenty of people, not that we need to, based on Humberside's callers and tweeters tonight, people are so pissed off with the bent proposition, a lot offence sitters just switched to No. It's funny that in light of a shameful leading ballot question, the best you can come up with is the timing of a CTWD advert. You backed the wrong horse, live with it.
oh, don't take it personal. Feelings are running pretty high. Massive game tomorrow at the start of a potentially season deciding week and these clowns use todays press conference, not to rally support, get behind the manager and players like WBA have already done earlier in the week or (bit controversial this) actually persuade any doubters that their support is vital tomorrow. We still haven't heard a peep if it's pay on the day, or a sell out, no-one knows !!!! and the City marketing man was live on Radio Humberside tonight, the first time I've heard him speak on radio ALL SEASON FFS and even he didn't mention if tickets were still available. No they use the assembled media to spread more bollocks and doubt about the motives for our support. FFS I was supporting this club before this family even knew we had a football club in Hull ! And they question my motives ?
I backed the right horse, the fact we'll be losing that horse and everything else is the hard part to live with. You should be proud of yourself: Keep the Name, Lose the Club. Well done.
But that it were not necessary to have tit for tats in the local press. Sad, sorry and completely unnecessary state of affairs. Lose / lose situation ultimately. Whatever your stance, it's all been said, so for the sake of retaining your essence as a football fan, back the manager and back the players tomorrow. Nothing else matters between 3pm and 4.50pm. UTT
Do you agree with johnop3? What do you make of his comments? johnop3 | March 18 2014, 10:59AM CTWD watch this space.Within a few day`s they will be an anouncment that the club is up for sale and the Players and manager leaving. Don`t assume any decisions will be made after Wembly or end of season.Well done CTWD what your gona sing when there`s no Hull Tigers. You have got what you deserve you mindless fool`s. I for one will be laughing in your face as will the football world. johnop3 | March 18 2014, 11:12AM haven`t seen any CTWD Cretins answer the question below- Can the nut job`s of CTWD answer this simple question - Hull Tigers or no club. You cretins are destroying the best time in the clubs history.
Our owner fell out with the council, being a stroppy t**t he decided to take City out of our name to punish them, he insulted all his customers and came up with ever more spurious reasons for doing it and that's my fault? A bloke too used to getting his own way has been making a grade one prat of himself for months and continues to do so. He has nobody to blame but himself, it might teach him some humility, but I doubt it. He hasn't left and I don't see him doing so anytime soon, though he might be forced to if this vote goes massively against him. If it does, it is once again entirely his fault for trying to bully people. Hull folk don't like to be bullied.
