...because 'someone' at the club always feels the need to disrupt the unity and focus.

    Fffs, do they never learn?

    Page 3 in paper tonight

    'Assem Allam clarification

HULL: In an article headlined "Authority's £10,000 squash sponsorship", which appeared in the Mail on March 18, it was stated "it appears Hull City Council and Hull City owner Assem Allam are building new bridges over the latter's love of squash".

Mr Allam has asked us to point out that this is not the case. The council's contribution was confirmed after they were asked to come on board and support it by organisers, the England Squash and Racketball Association, and not by Mr Allam himself.

We are happy to clarify this point."

    Sad......

Sponsorship. Asian markets. Shorter, snappier name...

No, it's this, and you can't even be arsed to hide it.

    Agree - sad.

It's beyond sad, but once again highlights the real reason for this name change bollocks.

And childish. If this isn't an olive branch from the council then I don't know what is.

I held out some hope in the past that our owner would start behaving like a rational and well balanced adult but this latest fiasco with the loaded questions in the ballot and his making it plain yet again that he hates the city council have destroyed that hope.

A question for those in the know, has he got the power to block any City of Culture events being held at the KC?.I ask because I honestly believe he sees his quarrel with the city council as a fight to the death.

Look North tonight saw a few more talking heads wheeled on to expound on the name change/abolition of HCFC.

Don't forget these folk have their trotters in the trough or have (nearly always) been recipients of AA largesse directly of through their place of employment. They also see HCFC as fantastic networking location.

They do not speak up for HCFC.

They do not know where Spotland is.

They know and care less than you and I do about the Tigers.

Don't be gulled by these charlatans and false prophets.

On the subject of getting organised. Couldn't CTWD have printed off 20,000 sheets of paper using a computer?
It may not look as professional as their usual offerings but it would get their views across to most of the people who were going to vote and maybe before they actually vote.

Our next battle with him will be if we win the FA cup. The stupid old twat is bound to turn down an open topped bus tour of the City and a civic reception. That to me would not only be a slap in the face for the fans but also for the players as well.
