    TEAM NEWS

Cardiff remain without injured defenders Mark Hudson, Ben Turner and Andy Taylor.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could start with the same XI that narrowly lost to Everton last weekend.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has no new injury worries and may stick with the side that beat Manchester United on Sunday.
Lucas Leiva and Mamadou Sakho are again expected to be on the bench as they return from long-term injuries.

    LAWRO'S PREDICTION

Cardiff were unlucky at Everton last weekend. They thought they had got a very good point but when you're down at the bottom of the league, these things happen to you.

Liverpool at the moment are by far and away the best team in the league. The football they've been playing is breathtaking - the pace at which they break and attack. If they go and attack Cardiff, I expect them to win convincingly.

They can win the title but do I think they will? No, I think Manchester City will.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has had a very good season. Regardless of what happens in the last few games, they will be in the Champions League. That will help him attract better players. Liverpool are only going to get stronger, but so are Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Cardiff won't stay up. In five or 10 years when you look at the history of Cardiff, the day they sacked Malky Mackay will be a major decision. Good luck to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. But he's never managed in the Premier League before. It's so difficult if your team is fighting against relegation to be able to manage at that level.

    Lawro's prediction: 0-2

    Eliza's prediction: 1-3

The obvious draw followed by an easy away win for us would be good!

This will be a lot tougher than our last away game. Cardiff have pride and something to play for....survival.

Hopefully their manager, being ex UTD, will produce a performance to match his previous club's.

Well who knows they have not improved on the league thus far but we know from the home fixture they played all through... Well let's be sharp and positive as they have to attack and SAS love to get in behind and to counter

    First goal is vital?

Nothing to lose can make for dangerous opposition. It may not come down to sheer quality because on that score we have no chance.

We will have to hang our hat upon the "passion factor" that exists amongst the squad. If that's enough to pull us through I'll be very surprised - but you never know.

As for the first goal scenario - I'll take one anytime tomorrow.

You 'write-off' any opponent at your peril. If we try and take it easy then we'll lose - deservedly! The game is there to be won. If we go about our business professionally we'll score goals to the point that we break Cardiff hearts - at which point the game is effectively over!

If Jordan Mutch is fit, he'll be key to any goalscoring chance we get. <ok> Fraizer Campbell has a good workrate but the accuracy of a Storm Trooper from 5 yards <doh>
