thought you were banging on about how great you were in '99? or were you amazing in 08 to? quite frankly both were forgettable, just like you will be as a "top" team over the next few years

Don't know them yourself, then? Shame.

Truth is, united were lucky to win that night. Same with chelsea and liverpool winning their respective finals.

We were great in both. Greater than the other side anyway.

We also won our league. Have you ever won the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and the PREMIER LEAGUE?

    I await your response <ok>

    Hmmm.

bayern were lucky 2 of the worlds best midfielders were missing. Not sure about anyone else being lucky. Determined seems to fit well though.

Ive already said Bayern were the better side btw <ok>

It's irrelevant, as SAF said, elite teams win it 5 times. hahahaha, even Ajax have won it more than you have!

The nation of Madrid has the advantage of having a European nation back them.

The fact we are widely considered the biggest football club in the world alongside Real Madrid. From all corners of the world.

also the small matter of being one of the most successful clubs on earth the last 20 years, dominating the most viewed league around.

I stopped taking you seriously when you said Barcelona. It shows how little you know.

Maybe in england you are, rest of the world, not so much.

Most viewed league? Might be the most viewed, but certainly isn't the best. Serie a, arguarbly was the best league for the majority of the time.

Why Barcelona? Won their league 22 times, CL 4 times,

United have never had a side that has dominated and been feared around Europe like the great sides Real, Milan, Barca and even Bayern now have had. United have never been able to attract the best players from around the world which is why they bully teams like Everton and Spurs for their best players.

United biggest in England yes, in the world, not even remotely.

When have Barcelona ever dominated Europe.

If you are making that claim then its quite easy to make the claim that United have dominated europe. Very easy indeed.

Its also funny how you same idiots claimed Barcelona were one of the best sides in the world after their 3rd Champions League and their record was equal to ours..... but suddenly United are not?

Well the world considers United one of its biggest football clubs. the big draw, the team people want to see. Even now we'd pull bigger gates than almost any club on earth.

This is almost as bad as those who claim Liverpool are one of the worlds biggest clubs but United are not yet United are a bigger club in England than Liverpool.....

We did get to back to back finals, and 3 finals in 4 years. So I'd say we where the standout side in Europe for a while. We also broke the record for most games in a row unbeaten away from home. No team has ever retained it in the modern CL format, so I wouldn't say any side has properly dominated in the CL yet:biggrin:
