That was one of the greatest days ever. We scored 6 whole goals! We're all creaming our pants at scoring 4. Imagine if we scored 50% more in this day and age, half this board would probably die of happiness.

I literally remember him playing 1 game. The rest i've forgotten or blocked from my memory. I don't look back fondly on most of the 90s from a Spurs perspective. I just wikipedia'd Ronnie out of interest. He got 4 goals in 88 appearances. As we know he got half the goals in that cup game vs Southampton so that means he had a pretty decent record of 1 goal in 87 appearances apart from that.
Forgot his record was that bad. Although he got shifted out to the wing. The 90's had some of my favourite players like Shaggy, Barmby, Teddy and Klinsmann. Although Dozzell was the highlight.
They all appeared in one glorious (ok, there wasn't much glory but it was fun) few years in the mid 90s. Before and after was horrendous. I really liked Dumitrescu in his first season, same team.
Ardiles famous five and popescu protecting had the basis of a great team. Plus Judas in defence. Pundits had us down as title challengers then reality kicked in!
Rosenthal scored 7 goals in 12 cup appearances for us, apparently. 4 goals in 88 league games. Bizarre. Doubt many of them were starts though, to be fair to him.
Chadli is so similar to Bale, it's true, but I'm not sure Bale crossed quite as well. Seriously, Chadli gets the ball once or twice and serves one up on a platter for Soldado against Dnipro. He really does get a lot of good crosses in. The stat I'd like to know is which one used more hair gel over the course of the season.
Exciting times ahead for us and Chadli but is Chadli going to impress at the world cup and will we be able to hold onto him!? Hopefully Chadli can stay and help us back into the champions league with Sherwood in charge

I just can't make up my mind if we should take that 90 million for Chadli or not. Losing our superstar three years in a row could be too much. Maybe we could take Bale off their hands and reduce the fee, since they won't have much use for him with Chadli in the side.
