Derby County. The old Baseball Ground.

Was there in 1976 for FA Cup game. Pitch was mud bath + sand. Terracing steps were about 1" in height and hard to see from behind a big lad.

Also on day sun was shining into our eyes and it was the second half when I found out Mike Mahoney wasn't in goal!!! Think that was that match?!

I don't know, Joker Park's pies were none too shabby. I went to watch England U15 v Brazil U15 there in 1988 and was grateful for that pie and bovril. Was a ****hole though.

Blundell Park was pretty grim. Which was fitting as the home of Grimsby.
Kenilworth Road was **** in the 80's so f**k knows what its like now.
Baseball Ground was a ****hole aswell
I went to watch Bedlington Terriers play S****horpe in the FA Cup. I remember that being a bit of a dump and it was beyond cold that day. And we got beat.

That whole area was the same, not just the football ground.

The residents didn't pay to have stalls in the market, they just put stalls up outside their house.

Just imagine what the parking was like.

Stop calling it Joker park <grr>

It had ****-all to do with me and I won't be associated with it. Are we clear? :steam:

Oxford. To the left of where the away fans were, was a cobbled together stand made up of four different stands, the last one being twenty yards long. "Sing in the bus stop" was a favourite chant of ours down there. What a **** hole!

At least you've got a lasting memory of it.

I've quite enjoyed all the grounds I've been to. Did you ever get to Accrington?

Last time I was at Carlisle was for a friendly. The best part of the day was a stop off at Hexham.

    I didn't mate, I think we've only played them once and I didn't go.

HDQ - I remember once at Oldham, the police had horses on the terrace trying to "control" our fans. Maybe early 80's?
