It's that time of the season again! Maybe for the last time for a while, Leeds welcome the "mighty" Millwall for a trip North to Elland Road. This game finds Millwall still languishing in the relegation zone, with Holloway looking for his team to pick up points from anywhere to beat the drop. The Lions come into this one on the back of a draw with fierce rivals Charlton, making it just 2 wins in 18 for the South London side. Leeds fared no better the last time out, losing 2-1 at league surprise package Burnley, though the Whites can at least take solace in a better set of results over the last 18, mustering up an impressive 3 wins .

Looking at the stats, Leeds have the thinnest of upper hands, with 13 wins versuses Millwall's 12 in previous league meetings. Historically the tie has heavily favoured the home side, and the Whites have won the last 3 against Millwall at Elland Road. With Millwall losing 12 of their last 13 on the road, Leeds fans will be hoping this is the game to finally end the losing streak and prevent Millwall from doing the double this season.

No injury concerns for Brian McDermott heading into this one, though Kebe and Stewart should still be concerned for their places after less than impressive showings recently. Matt Smith could hold onto his starting berth after a decent performance against Burnley last weekend.

    Millwall

DJ Campbell, Danny ****tu and Jermaine Easter are all still classed as fitness doubts heading into this one, and Leeds loanee and Millwall top scorer (6) Steve Morison won't be leading the line at Elland Road. Youngster Fred Onyedinma is set to start, with new boy Maierhofer on the bench for Holloway's team.

I've put forward a 4-2-3-1, though I'm not 100% happy with it because it pushes Ross wide, and he's our goal scorer at the minute. With the players out there, it could transition to a 4-4-2 diamond though, Ross in CAM, Wickham and Smith upfront with Austin holding behind Murphy and Mowatt. Whether we have the confidence to be trying to play fluid formations at the minute is anyones guess. But I'd like to see Brian continue without Kebe / Stewart.

Millwall are desperate to get out of the bottom 3, but have been poor all season, with a -30 goal difference at the minute. Surely we can end our bad run at their expense?

    The Damned Prediction: 2-0 Win

Over to you lot, let's start the banter ahead of the meet up early! Sorry I can't be there, but I know our lads will keep the Millwall boys in check!

Trying out a new format for the match thread. Thought the other one was getting a bit too heavy on the words so trying out something a little more visual. Let me know if you prefer it / hate it / anything missing from the old style that you'd want here etc etc

    Cheers <cheers>

Good match thread - but can't see Morison "leading our line" can you ?? Might be a tad contracted to you, I think it'll be lofty up front and everyone else in goal for us....

Looks great on the Nexus pal. What's the x for in the Leeds form guide, I assume a draw? Good work, 3-0 Leeds

Yep, following the old pools system. D is a goalless draw, X is a score draw <ok>

Not easy way to say this, and sorry to break it to you:
Eire has left you after discovering someone who like him has no loyalty to LUFC.
Him and Elland are just planning a same sex marriage in the close season.
