On the game show Pointless they asked the question

Who has won the Premiership Manager Of The Month Award since the start of the Premier League Era from 1992/1993?

The most obscure answers are what we are looking for!

George Burley scored 1 point <ok>

The biggest joke surely were the combined efforts of Gareth Southgate and Brian Robson!

Bobby only scored a few points for when he won it with Newcastle!

One of the contestants said Ron Greenwood!

They obviously knew very little about football as he stopped being a manager in 1982!

He did indeed take over from Dave Stringer, He was with us for about three years in total, broken by a disasterous spell with the Toffees

Aidy Boothroyd would be my guess without doing too much thinking.

Also, Joe Kinnear would be another name I would throw into the mix..

Though I very much doubt either would come close to winning the award

From those not mentioned, Curbishley must surely be in there somewhere. Trying to think who else... I'm guessing the earlier ones would be less points - George Graham might be a bit too obvious and it would be the bigger clubs most likely to pick up the MOM awards so - Joe Royle, Ron Atkinson, Howard Wilkinson, Ossie Ardilles, Roy Evans?

Alan ball - Southampton / man city another obvious earlier one.

Joe kinnear is a good shout.

Trying to remember who managed QPR back then with Ray Wilkins and Les Ferdinand in the side, they're probably another shoe in.

I'm not sure you understand the OP on this Hampy, if you name someone that has never won the award, which began in 1992, far from being pointless, you score the maximum of 100 points!

Martin O'Oneil won it with Leicester, Sunderland and Villa and only scored 7 points! <yikes>

I thought he would have been a lot higher!

Carlo Ancellotti with Chelsea was a pointless answer! <ok>

Before you name your answer though you can confer on possibilities, think about it that way. I don't know for sure any of them did - it's not one where anyone is likely to be able to reel off a list, so it's a risky business and the trade off is going for lowest possible score against likelihood they won it. I've gone for a load of candidates in that category.
