HUGE game, which we HAVE to win to keep our fading play off aspirations alive - anything else then it's our season over with.
Unless we can find a miracle extra gear from somewhere, i honestly can't see us getting anything out of this game, and think we will be thumped 3-0.
I'm sure MM will go with his usual 4-5-1 formation for an away fixture, keeping it as tight as possible, and hope to nick something from somewhere (probably a smith/berra header) - and for once, i think that could be the only way we can win this game.
We need to pack the midfield and defence, frustrate them, and hope to win a few set pieces.

Our season finished last week stretchy. We should be giving some of the kids in the squad a run out <ok>
 
I do love your optisom Warky, and sometimes i wish i was as positive as you, but do you honestly believe we have a "good" chance of getting in the play offs?
Yes, of course its possible - and it's also possible that AFC Wimbledon will be playing Champions League football in 5 seasons time.
 
I'm going to go for my favorite of score lines

Without Skuse playing I imagine we'll play with Green & Hyam in the middle with Williams playing in between midfield and Murph all alone up front...
I reckon we'll play half decent in a reasonably entertaining match but be more determined to not let them score than trying to score ourselves
 
To be honest I dont get this chucking in the youngster idea. If they are ready for the first team then they should be there already.

Im happy to include the kids if they are ready for a match but just because its getting near the end of the season seems a bit strange. its a bit like letting the office junior run your company because it is just before christmas and the pressure is off.

It can be a chicken and egg argument, "how will we ever know if they're ready?" against "they'll prove them selves in training and picking themselves". I lean more towards giving them an opportunity, BUT with the Under 21 results it may suggest it wouldn't be worth it. I would like to see the players that MM has identified as good players (Marriott, Bishop) and Hewitt given more of a chance.

I just get this feeling that Cresswell would never have been given a full season straight away under Mick, thereby we would have missed out on what he brings.
 
We're going to surprise Brighton by going all out 4-2-3-1.
Green and Hyam holding with Hunt, Williams and Taylor behind Murphy.
Scoreline will be an unexpected 4-2 to us with all of the front four scoring one each.
Hampy and stretchy will still be writing our season off, Weighty will say we're still in it (and me, ptc and TB will agree) and JWM and Spanish will get into a slanging match before kissing and making up on Sunday.

its not the fact I don't feel youngsters should be given a run out but more a case of I don't see the general idea of 'its getting towards the end of the season lets play youngsters' For me any decent/ promising youngster should either be out on loan getting experience or already be on the bench and getting 5 or 10 minutes at the end of games.
 
Haven't we been saying for the past month plus that if we don't win our next game that'll be season over? Yes chances are slim but we've got both Brighton and Forest, if we get wins against them things will IMO look completely different especially as Forest are on a poor run of form. If we're sitting here in a week and a half and lost to both Brighton and Forest I would definitely agree it would be game over. But if we're sat here then after wins against both I'm sure people with think it's back on. So don't write us off just yet.

I'll go for a 1-0 win Murphy getting the goal.
