I posted on the manc board that they may as well look to play the big teams at this point, if your gonna get knocked out may as well be in a blaze of glory against one of the big boys.

The timing and quality of Gerrard's winner has made it a famous goal. No one will ever watch replays of van Persie's goals since they all just went straight through the inept goalkeeper.

The Beeb are putting a commemoration DVD together as we speak....

It's gonna be hilarious. They'll finally play a DECENT team in the CL this season. They've had the easiest group stages and the easiest KO match - and they have struggled all the way through.

Please get Bayern - it would make my day!!

I'm hoping they get Real so the ladyboy can knock them out.

what's the betting there will be stupid stories come out afterwards that he will go back and help them out in a silly £60-70 mill return and 300k wages.

although if that did happen in reality, they might make a move for luis with the cash, so i take it all back lol.

think utd still have the pull for players, or is it more the silly wages that is appealing to them nowdays, as it certainly isn't the joy of working under moyes <laugh>

Rooney's payrise is gonna be a financial noose around their necks and new contracts for RVP and De Gea will take a huge chunk of their spending money even before they buy any players, and any prospective top player/playerrs will want a wage similar to Rooney's, add that to the transfer fee/fees and Utd are in deep ****.

So its all good.

Yep, I noticed we both voted for Real on their board.<laugh>

Yeah, I saw that too. No mancs had gone for them either <laugh>

TBF, it doesn't really matter who they get next as they are the weakest side left IMO. They won't beat PSG, Bayern, Real or Barca over two legs. I'd fancy Dortmund and Chelsea to beat them, the only one would be A.Madrid but they are still a very good side.

Still, more chance than us this season. Got to be in it and all that...

Mata will also be on higher wages than Kagawa for not doing the same things Kagawa isn't doing <ok>

Both are being played out wide when they are at their best in the middle too. Rooney is also best in the hole. Can't play them all.

a ****ing men to that <ok>

long may it continue as well, ****s!

and we thought we had it bad with J Coles wages lol

Talk about being deluded! <doh>

Why is De Gea suddenly the best goalkeeper in the Premiership! <laugh>

Listening to all the "Pundits" last night apparently he is now world class for making what it amounts to a fairly regulation double save!

Did anyone in the entire football universe watch his incredible performance against Sunderland! <laugh> His distribution is woeful and he has no command of his box but yeah he's world class! <doh> Mignolet is far better!
