    The score was 3v0!

United got exactly what they wanted; led by their manager David Moyes.

In the game you could see the plan and the way Moyes wanted to play and the players responded.

Moyes, I think, should stay and be given 3-4 years to implement his ideas.

I think this game shows his real potential and true, genuine fans, should give him the time he needs.

Part time United/Swansea fans should not be the litmus test for genuine fan opinion.

Can you see the light at the end of the tunnel and a bright future under Moyes?

What? Its a serious question lowered by your tone.

This game you could see the strategy and it paid in a 3-0 victory.

Do United fans (and you) now want him to stay?

    Completely agree mate.

He supported Moyes yesterday, but not earlier today, but now they win convincingly - so does he, and United fans, now give Moyes a bit more time?

Il keep supporting Moyes for now, though not with a great deal of confidence. Tonight's performance is kind of highlighting just what a waste of money Mata was, as we need pace in wide areas, and we need to fit RVP, Rooney and Mata into 2 positions up front. Mata can't play wide, particularly against the better sides. Rooney and RVP do tend to pick up a lot of injuries, so maybe Mata will come in handy then next season, but seems silly to spend 37m on a player to use as a back up

I disagree on that front, as I think Mata's departure greatly weakens Chelsea, as Mata is a lot better than any of there current attacking midfield players, and as Chelsea don't have Rooney like we do, Mata would fit in perfectly behind there striker. Chelsea have a major lack of goals in there team and have been grinding out results with a top class defence, but Mata would have given them a lot more goals from midfield, as so far Hazard is the only midfielder who's regularly chipping in:biggrin:

What score goals, and make goals? If you play with 2 holding midfield players, and Mata infront of them, then it doesn't matter if Mata isn't great defensively as there are 2 behind to do the dirty work. A lot of teams play with 2 strikers, that don't do much tracking back, yet Chelsea only play with 1, so they can afford a luxury player in there system. Mourinho is just a boring negative manager, who's tactics are to stifle the opposition and nick games by the odd goal:biggrin:

I don't think Moyes have 3 more years, he is already given 3 more games to prove himself..

    This.

He can't play wide in 4231, but is good wide in 433, he played there under AVB, but could not track back (as you saw v Liverpool costing one of their goals)

I think Mata will come good, but what about Fellaini?

Yet to put in any kind of performance.

Don't see where fellaini will ever fit in. He's just a lump. Made a name for himself by battering other players and scoring the odd goal. Never saw him as a united player and nothing he has done (and he hasn't done much) has changed my mind. Rather have spent £37 m on mata than £27 m on fellaini. At least mata has potential to give them something once Moyes works out he didn't buy a winger.

He weakens our squad, he doesn't weaken our first team.

I trust Jose more than I do you to decide whether it was a good decision to let him go.
Mourinho has a certain way he likes his teams to play and Mata wasnt fitting in.
I also think Hazard has the potential to become a much better play than Mata currently is.
I will say that prior to this season, Mata was undoubtedly the best No. 10 in the league though, so I can see why United wanted him. But he is being wasted on the wings.

I think Moyes should leave now on a high. This is the single greatest thing in his entire life.

also keeping a poor manager based on a CL run isnt of any benefit. The last club to do that have done nothing in 10 years.......

Football is so fickle and decided by such fine margins. If De Gea doesn't make that great double save or the ref doesn't give that iffy looking free kick, then I reckon he'd be clearing his desk this morning. As it stands people are now talking about turning points etc. Crazy game at times.....
