From an outsider's point of view I thought the most telling thing last night was Rooney's attitude. The way he slid on his knees to get to RVP after the third one (and RVP's acceptance of it) doesn't really chime with a club in crisis where all the players want to leave and hate each other. He was also the only one stood ovwer RVP when he got injured for the whole time between the trainer coming on and the stretcher going off.

Yes you have problems but when there's that kind of empathy between the players then it can't be all bad
