Getting stuffed by Liverpool seems to have had the desired effect!! Your team must have had a good chat with each other, old heads (Giggs) consulted and so far so good. It would be funny if you get Chavs in the QFs and would be too tight to call. You don't want any of the Spanish teams or Bayern. PSG, Chelsea and Dortmund you can match and get past. You might do a Milan and Liverpool of 2007 (two poorish teams at the time) who managed to get the CL final.
15 mins to go and Untd are hanging back too much, inviting trouble. Their advantage is too slender and this is not what they should be doing.
Going back to 2007, I don't think the teams then were as good as those competing in this season's QFs and SFs so that is why they were poorish by comparison as both Liverpool and Milan went into a subsequent decline. Nice to see Liverpool competing again at the highest level and I am sure Liverpool will do very well in next season's CL tournament. I'd be prepared to put a tenner on a CF final appearance in 2015 as LFC have the history when competing in that tournament and will be entering it with vigour!!
Milan were in decline though this was their 2nd CL in 3 years. They were getting on a bit but when United and Ronaldo turned up in Italy they got absolutely taken apart. Liverpool making the final, Rafa is decent with European two leg competitions. Liverpool that year knocked out Barca PSV Chelsea and lost to Milan.
